Canabo wholly owns and operates Cannabinoid Medical Clinic (CMC), Canadaβs largest referral-only clinic for medical cannabis. After opening in 2014, Canabo now has ten locations including Toronto, Barrie, Ottawa, Hamilton, Halifax, St. Johnβs and Edmonton, with a number of additional clinics opening in Alberta, New Brunswick and Ontario in 2016.
CMC has over 40 physicians working in our clinics. We are a physician referral-only medical clinic. They work closely with both patients and physicians to address the need for cannabinoid therapy. The majority of their patients visit us for symptoms related to chronic pain, cancer, epilepsy, arthritis, anxiety, and MS. These patients have often tried multiple first and second line therapies with variable success, and have ongoing symptoms that cause significant distress and functional burden.
