La associazione sportiva dilettantistica CALGJ di Genova è una delle più antiche scuole di arti marziali e difesa personale della Liguria e venne fondata a Genova nel 1951 dal famoso maestro Tito Devoto, cintura nera 7° dan. Gli istruttori della scuola CALGJ hanno esperienza in una moltitudine di discipline incentrate intorno all'arte del Ju Jitsu (La Dolce Arte). Si passa dal Ju Jitsu moderno del Metodo Bianchi (con lo studio dei settori e delle tecniche volanti, al Ju Jitsu più tradizionale del Hontai Yoshin Ryu. Dalla sintesi di queste due interpretazioni del concetto di Ju (flessibilità, cedevolezza) si arriva alle Applicazioni del Ju Jitsu, alla difesa personale ed al combattimento libero (Fighting System).
