Like most chain coffee shops, nice coffee and a selection of food and snacks. Good amount of seats for somewhere this close to the centre of Edinburgh, and the barista was super efficient and friendly. Good place for a quick stop.

Do not come Here if you like to sit down.
Fantastic to have dog friendly Neros here.... that was 9 months ago when it opened. Now it is impossible to get a seat because of students doing there homework. One would think that Neros would protect their image by keeping a few seats for regular customer...

It's a Caffe Nero. Sorry but if you seen one you've seen them all. This one opened in 2019 so it's nice and new when I wrote this.
Unfortunately the coffee in Caffe Nero really isn't the best, too bitter compared to the smooth roasts you can get at a privately owned coffee place.

Conviniently located, great friendly staff, great selection of food and pleasant atmosphere, diverse seating available (high chairs by the window, plush armchairs low in the corner, long table, small booths - whatever you may need!)
