Two colleagues and I traveled from the US to Ancona, Italy for a university exchange and stayed at a nearby hotel. We stumbled upon Bar Caffe' Giuliani our first day in Ancona and grabbed a few sandwiches for lunch.

I saw some Fiat chocolate near the register that I wanted to bring for a few friends at home and went back later that day to purchase them. The store associates and management were so friendly! They spoke English and befriended us during our stay in Ancona.

During the week, we made it a point to stop by at least once a day. We had lunch, dinner, aperitivo, and afternoon tea at Bar Caffe' Giuliani and enjoyed it more and more every time.

Don't let the outside deceive you! There is a full bar, coffee bar, deli, bakery, and small shop inside and it is always packed! Great store and even better associates.

If you are visiting Ancona, you will enjoy this atmosphere. I sure am going to miss this place.

The location of the cafe is very convenient close to the port. We ordered hot beverages and it took quite some while to get prepared although it was not that crowded. The beverages were right up to the mark given the prices which were higher than the usual average. We ordered a panna cotta which never arrived and it was pretty disappointing.

If you are in the center and want to have a quick meal but with traditional dishes, an excellent aperitif accompanied by enough snacks for a dinner, excellent wines, fast service, account with a good quality / price ratio ..... And if in the summer you want stop time in the outdoor tables, watching the promenade in Corso Garibaldi and the ships entering the port ..... Stop because you are in the right place.

Bar and restaurant located at the end of the Corso di Ancona, the location is excellent. It is suitable both for taking a quick snack, but also for dining (it offers a complete menu, meat, fish and pizza) and the quality of the food is quite high. It is also an ice cream shop. The prices are perfectly adapted to the circumstance and are absolutely not high. The staff are welcoming and kind. The place is peaceful and suitable for all ages.

Convenient, fresh, central, very close to the Port and the Muse Theater, it has an excellent quality / price ratio, especially in food. The staff is prompt and courteous. The style of the restaurant is international but the taste is absolutely Marche. Illy's coffee is the best.

Great coffee bar, historic.
Very well stocked for quick breakfasts and lunches.
Professional and courteous staff as well as many to serve.
At several tables divided into small rooms inside and others outside (weather permitting).
Average prices, some examples; Cappuccino 1.40 euros and sandwich 1.20 euros.
I recommend it to everybody

Pleasant surprise in the center of Ancona.
I was struck by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Wonderful fish appetizers, alternating between cold and hot, in such quantity as to have to give up the first and, in part, also the second, since the frying and stopping of fish I was unable to finish them.
What about ... experience to do!
