Fun for parents and children...lots of spiders, bugs, star fish and activities to keep everyone entertained. The exhibit had a great flow to it. The whole family got to hold Rosie who is a sweetheart! Butterfly garden was beautiful and larger than ones I've been to in the past. Great overall experience for all.

This place is awesome for everyone who is interested in creepy crawlies, plants, and butterflies! They have different creature exhibits like tarantulas, centipedes, roaches, and some sea life. The butterfly house is a great experience! If you go before Halloween you can probably hold Rosie the Rose Haired Tarantula! The spider exhibit inside the butterfly house is a one of a kind experience so check it out too (before Halloween)!
Tickets are inexpensive and you don't necessarily need a reservation. Have fun!

I enjoyed the butterfly area and able to even witness butterfly mating. I went to see the monarchs as I usually don't see in Colorado. Tropical flowers too. I loved the staff enthusiasm and educational sharing. Staff from entrance, saltwater & butterfly experience to bookstore was excellent. We were 2 adults with no kids in tow. on Tuesday not busy at all. It felt like a VIP experience

Although the butterfly area was small it was pretty diverse. Be careful walking around because some butterflies rest on the ground. There was a cool tropical ocean display before entering and indoor playground with climates theme at the end and my 2 year old loved that! It really had something to enjoy for all ages and the staff was very nice.

Excellent stop for all ages. The size enables everyone in your party to comfortably enjoy and take it all in. First up, hold Rosie! Then dream of the ocean while looking at starfish. Then you enter the butterfly zone. Breathtaking. The high humidity and heat transfer you to another part of the world. Butterflies everywhere you look. After that kid zone and gift shop.

This is a great experience. Kids would love it too. 13 bucks for an adult ticket, so I thinks it's reasonable. You get to look at numerous exotic spiders, scorpions and insects. They have a small aquatic area where you can touch a few ocean-going animals such as horseshoe crabs. The butterfly pavillion area itself is incomparable. All types of butterflies flitting about. Stop here. You won't regret it.

Absolutely loved this place. Very serene and the tropical butterflies are so beautiful! The chrysalis section was muy cool.

It also has corals, exotic bugs, bees, spiders and plants. There's even a section to touch the starfish and horseshoe crabs.

Employees were super nice and knowledgeable. There was a nice presentation while an associate released newly hatched butterflies.

$13 for adults and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice Butterfly Pavilion, I got my tickets online, very easy to buy tickets and easy to in, place was clean and well-maintained, very informative employees, when we went in it was time to release new born butterflies , lady was explaining about each one of them, names, country of origin, how to be around them, it was very helpful and informative for everyone, specially for children. I had an amazing time, highly recommend for anyone to visit this beautiful Pavilion.

Butterfly Pavilion: The World's Leading Invertebrate Zoo

Butterfly Pavilion is a unique and fascinating zoo that is dedicated to invertebrates. Located in Westminster, Colorado, it is the world's leading AZA accredited invertebrate zoo featuring over 5,000 invertebrate residents from all around the globe. The Butterfly Pavilion offers visitors an opportunity to learn about these amazing creatures and their importance to our ecosystem.

The Butterfly Pavilion was founded in 1995 by a group of entomologists who wanted to create a place where people could learn about insects and other invertebrates. Today, it has become one of the most popular attractions for families and school groups alike.

One of the main attractions at the Butterfly Pavilion is its butterfly exhibit. Visitors can walk through a lush rainforest environment filled with hundreds of free-flying butterflies from all over the world. This exhibit allows visitors to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures as they flutter around them.

In addition to its butterfly exhibit, the Butterfly Pavilion also features several other exhibits that showcase different types of invertebrates. For example, there is an exhibit dedicated to spiders where visitors can see some of the largest spiders on earth up close.

Another popular exhibit at the Butterfly Pavilion is its bee hive display. Here visitors can watch as bees go about their daily activities inside a glass-enclosed hive. This display provides an excellent opportunity for people to learn about bees and their importance as pollinators.

The Butterfly Pavilion also offers educational programs for both children and adults. These programs are designed to teach people about insects and other invertebrates while providing hands-on learning experiences that are both fun and informative.

For example, there are summer camps for kids where they can spend time learning about bugs while participating in activities like bug hunts or building insect habitats. There are also adult classes available on topics such as beekeeping or butterfly gardening.

Overall, if you're looking for a unique experience that will allow you to learn more about insects and other fascinating creatures without having to travel too far from home then look no further than The Butterfly Pavilion! With its wide range of exhibits, educational programs, and beautiful surroundings it truly has something for everyone!
