From a sub contractors point of view ... this General is a straight shooter. They pay on time, even if they haven't been paid. For an out of town contractor to come into my town and operate with this level of integrity is a breath of fresh air. I will work for them any day, any time, under any condition. I wish more could be like them!!!

Nathan Rariden, a senior project manager at Buffalo construction per his email, requested info from my company on a project he is working on. Less than two weeks ago, my sales rep gave him a verbal for his project. At that same time, we lost our production manager. Nathan contacts me at 9pm on Friday night demanding a formal estimate to his scope. I go back and forth with him trying to help as sales rep is out on family leave. He could not give me details of scope in order for me to look over. Nathan needed this "asap" and said he financed it later telling me he had cash. I tried again to get more info to see if we could even do this at the moment due to our circumstances. 9:20am Saturday morning, Nathan was still wanting an estimate without giving me any info. He mentioned my sales rep had it on his tablet but I would think Nathan would have some simple plans for a screen room with some dimensions. At this point, knowing I do not have a production manager and time is of the essence, it was clear we could not meet the expectations of this senior project manager. I've attached my response as to why I would be unable to move forward in the best interest of my company and not being able to meet expectations. His reply was unprofessional, assuming, defamatory and without any rationale. I explained to him that we are in a tough spot but he chose to revel in my small business challenges I face every day. I tried to help Nathan out by suggesting some alternate sources for him and his project. Obviously, he did not take that well as seen in our email communications. I don't know why Nathan is so consumed by my company doing a job that it is not prepared to complete. To insult my company and make assumptions about my staff is out of line and presumptuous. As a senior project manager of a well-known GC such as Buffalo Construction, I would have expected much more professionalism. To act they way he did over my company not being able to provide a formal estimate due to unforeseen circumstances is over the top. If dealing with Buffalo Construction on a project in the future, it may be a good idea to request someone other than Nathan Rariden as your senior project manager as he may assume certain things about you as a person and cast it all out there on social media!

Now I don t know what some of these other people are saying, not calling them untrue, I can only say from my experience with them that I absolutely love this company. They have the best group I ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Maybe I ve just been lucky with the ones I ve been in contact with. I have done more than a few jobs with and for them. First thru the sealing company owned by my father, then thru my own window cleaning service. If they ever have had anything that might be an issue is they want and expect professional top grade quality and the job to be accomplished in a timely, organized, safe, correct manner. Which should be commended if it s something that you can t accomplish then maybe some might not wish to try to work with or for. Don t drag thru the mud a great company cause you fail to meet what any reputable company should be able to expect. Those who are able to follow thru or want one of the few top companies as I work/worked with most in this town theres only a couple that can match the expertise, quality, drive attention to detail, and execution Buffalo provides. I have to also say too that everyone I have had the pleasure to deal with are the best. And there s none like Joe Cantrell, I wouldn t feel right not singling out as I ve had more interaction with and I have the highest respect for. Thanks Joe and all the Buffalo team keep up the great work. Hope to see you all soon.
