You will love spending time here. We have annual passes and come here at least once a month. Always something new to see and experience.
Love this zoo. Friendly staff. Beautiful walk ways and enclosure for the animals. Plenty of place to sit and enjoy the animals. Natural setting. And so much to see with the splash zone for kids gift shop food court. Great place for photography.
Good place for the kids. If you want too feed the giraffes make sure you get there in the morning.
We have enjoyed taking our kids to the Brevard zoo since we moved here several years ago! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I like how they keep changing and improving the exhibits.
Nice zoo. Walk around it in about 2hrs didn't do the special activities (kayak, zip line, etc). Kids area has a small pool area, boat slide, sand pit.
Wow the volunteers or workers are amazing! So friendly. Treated my daughter like a princess. I will be back
Small, well maintained, friendly staff, animal variety.
Use to volunteer there years ago, they have made many improvements since then, very well-made interactive and entertaining zoo
The animals are in spacious environments and can interact with people as a choice.
The giraffe exhibit is fabulous!
Enjoyable day, even though it rained. Loved their commitment to conservation,
Great exhibits. Friendly staff. Fun for the whole family .
Great place to go. I am not usually the one to go to a zoo and support caged animals but this place takes care of their animals above and beyond what they should and they all have way more room to rome around freely.
Had such an amazing time here. Even when it was raining on and off I fell in love with this Zoo and I've been to my fair share of Zoo's. Very clean and such nice people. If you are looking for something to do with your kids, family, or just a zoo fan like me then head over there you wont be disappointed.
Great place for the family to spend the day! The employees and volunteers are great! The volunteers we spoke with were very nice and were happy to tell us the names, personalities and stories about some of the animals. The Zoo was very clean and the animals appeared to be happy and healthy. Hand feeding the birds in the walk through aviary was lots of fun and great for the kids too!
So much fun! The splash pad is so cool. There are a ton of trails so make sure you bring good shoes! Lots of neat experiences and diverse animals here! Annual passes are fairly priced for the family.
Good place for the kids. If you want too feed the giraffes make sure you get there in the morning.
Soo, peaceful, clean and beautiful. I love that they have several children creativity areas. Will definitely visit again.
Thought the aviary and other more open enclosures were great. We also loved the conservation efforts made by the zoo. All animals seemed physically healthy and cared for, however, was disappointed to see animals in small enclosures that didn t seem to nearly suffice to their range (monkeys, Fox&bobcat, a few of the African animals, Jaguars, cheetahs, enclosed large birds). Seeing animals pacing along the fence line is absolutely heart breaking and I hope Brevard can work towards improving the animals quality of life. The animals well being should be before the ability to see them close up. Park and enclosures were clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Cozy and straightforward zoo, much fun animals and watching. Cozy train journey around Africa ...
Took our 3 year old grandson today. It was a great experience. The only negative experience we had was from a volunteer in the petting zoo. She obviously doesn't like children and should be placed somewhere other then the petting zoo or where small children are present. She was extremely rude to not only the children but also adults from the moment we entered the gate. All the other staff and volunteers we encountered was amazing and very nice and knoweledgable.
The biggest reason why I love this zoo is because all the animals look happy. They don't look like they want to kill themselves.
Very nice. Paid extra for kayak ride and to feed the giraffes. Worth it.
Amazing experience , about 50 dollars for 2 with there 3 extras (bird feeding, train ride and graiffie feeding. Maps located everywhere friendly staff, food inside as well for a sit down lunch. We really enjoyed our time here.
Love this zoo!! They are renovating and each time I go there I see more and more animals!!
I love going to Brevard zoo. I've visited since my children were small and now they are grown and we still love to visit. Over the years it has continued to grow more beautiful. I love the educational and conservation programs also. Great job to all the zoo workers and volunteers!!!
I love this zoo, because they really try to educate the public and they do alot of charity work.
Really enjoyed the zoo! Lots of critters, and staff was very informative.
My favorite has to be the tortoises which the zoo has quite a few shelly friends.
Most intimate and relaxed zoo that I have ever patroned. Well laid out and exceptional exhibits.
Great zoo! Really fun with a great selection of animals and activities for kids of all ages. The food is reasonably priced as well. For parents with children under 12, bring swim suits for the small water play place.
What a great place! We went early in the morning & all the animals were out & about. Bird feeding was a crazy experience. The baby monkey was so cute & the meerkats were fun to watch. Super clean bathroom & gift shop is a huge bonus!
The wind can't get into that place and they only got a couple of water mist sprayers on sometimes. But good place. I think there are animals there!?
What a great zoo. Great place to take the kids. Not a huge zoo but it is laid out very well with a ton of things to see and do.
The exhibits are well thought out and makes the experience very enjoyable.
One of my favorite Zoos in Florida
Well maintained, volunteers and staff areas friendly and you can really tell that the animals are taken care of well. You can feed Giraffes and birds at a reasonable price, get very close to kangaroos, and go kayaking by the animals.
I had so much fun here, and can't wait to go back to check out the zip lining!
Great place for families and couples!
Lots of hands on, shade covering, and wet area. Very kid friendly. Good food.
Well thought out zoo, tons of shade, could use some fans with all this Florida heat.
I live in St Louis but was visiting Cocoa Beach. Nice little zoo to take the kids.
I thought this place was great wide selection of animals, workers and guides were very knowledgeable and gift shop had great items. The only downside was the train ride was very short, and the food took a little longer than I'd like other than that would definitely recommend a visit.
Lots of different animals to see and Interactive things for the kids to do.
We really enjoyed the zoo especially the giraffes. The bird exhibit was also fun. We did find it a little expensive for a zoo-almost $50 for 2 people but at least it's going to a good cause.
The update blew me away! I already loved visiting the Brevard Zoo, but now it's even more amazing! Be sure to check out every experience!
Drove 3 hours with a 4 yr old and 2 year old to be told we couldn t get in. Employees were very rude and unhelpful. Will never attempt to go to this place ever again.
Really nice zoo, very friendly staff with lots of interactivity!
Our kids loved this place! The tickets are good for a 2nd visit as well so we were able to go back and see the bird exhibit and ride the train again. Feeding the birds was my kid's favorite part. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the park.
My mother and i visit the zoo today and was beautiful ,clean , we have a good experience we enjoy today
Brevard Zoo is a local gem. It has constantly grown and evolved through the years. It has shaded walkways and has a nice water feature where kids can play. They sponsor several special events throughout the year including 'Boo at the Zoo' at halloween and 'Christmas in July' in the summer. It is better to plan trips when the Zoo opens in the morning or near closing time because that is when the animals are most active.
It's a nice small zoo. Feeding the Giraffes was fun.
Fantastic zoo! All the volunteers really know their stuff & they are all so friendly. Say hi to the tower of giraffes when you go & take some time to feed them...magical!
Spent $80 to get in just to see the butterfly exhibit and it was closed. Very disappointed. Every employee (except on at the flamingo cafe) that we interacted with was blah and short. not pleasant at all. very disappointed won't be coming back. Was looking forward to going there for mos before hand also. So very very disappointing
The Brevard Zoo is amazing. Theirs activities for all ages. Adults can explore around the zoo with treetop trek Ariel obstacle course & zip-lining. The little ones can enjoy PAWS ON build explore splash touch where there is a nice water park area that's next to a play area, animal petting, and indoor exploring center. There's a lot to do and beautiful animals to see. My first experience visiting the Brevard Zoo was exciting. You might not be able to do every activity but it's worth going a few more times.
We loved this zoo it felt like you were right up on the animals and it was fantastic. Very friendly staff and easy to navigate.
Went to see the dinosaur exhibit with my little ones. It was so neat how they came to life. We will definitely be going back!
Great Zoo! Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful family orientated atmosphere. Wonderful way to spend a day as a family viewing all the diverse animals they have on display. Educational and fun, cant wait to go back!
The staff was really nice I enjoyed the birds and the Rhinos a lot
What a terrific little zoo! Is it the San Diego/Ft. Worth/Bronx/National Zoo? No, but it doesn't try to be. It's beautifully maintained, with the animals close at hand in natural settings. The kids love feeding the giraffes and seeing the Rhinos up close. Feeding the birds is another inexpensive treat. It's large enough to spend most of a day, without exhausting yourself. Lots of shade and cover, plus a splash/fountain area to cool off the little ones. It can be a little pricey but look out for the local deals.
Was my kids first time at the zoo. They love it. Very clean too.
We are planning to move to this area. I love the experiences they have at Brevard Zoo! Well worth the money.
They opened a new expanded rainforest including a couple of giant otters. Also have a raised walkway over part on the exhibits that has a elevator to make it wheelchair accessible.
Great zoo for family, I have been many times it is always fun!
I went on Saturday 3/10/18 as my second time and I love it more and more! I did the Challenge Reloaded zip course with the zoo admission, bird and giraffe feedings, train ride and kayaking. Lizzie our kayak guide is freaking awesome! All of the staff I encountered were very attentive and helpful and fun! This is by far my favorite zoo solely because of all the neat interactions and because it is very well maintained! Will definitely be coming back.
Great zoo. A lot of fun and activities for the kids. Just a little expensive, or are all zoos this way
What a great zoo. Friendly, clean, and amazing to feed the giraffes!
It looks like the animals are well cared for. Enjoyed the visit.
