Breakthrough Miami provides an academic enrichment program that uses a student-teaching-students model to serve motivated, under-resourced students in grades 5 through 12. The organization works to ensure participants graduate from high school on time, attend college, and develop leadership skills through its programming. Its offerings include a Summer Institute, College Bound programming, BreakthroughU, and Growlight, along with scholarship support and career exposure opportunities such as mock interviews and Career Day. The organization engages teaching fellows, volunteers, corporate partners, and donors to carry out its educational mission in South Florida.
