This is a tiny but lovely locale with a good variety of options. It's only open on Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 4pm making it a delight fraught with anticipation. You can order ahead on their website or do a same day walk in. I had the seasonal zeppole dibsan guiseppe. Absolutely delicious.

The pizza was fantastic, but the bombolini was actually the best part. They only had chocolate when we went so I'd love to go back and try the pastry cream filled version.

We got the mozzarella and the rossa (sauce only) pizza. The mozzarella not surprisingly was better, but the rossa was also great. Extremely fresh, just slightly salty mozzarella and the sauce was very sweet. The crust was a little too crispy on one side, but perfectly doughy on the other (on both pizzas oddly enough)

The only annoying part was the wait. Definitely order ahead! Take your order over to Riverside Park like I did if the weather cooperates.

I was literally surprised how cute this place was today. I ended up getting a bagel and a smoothie from somewhere else and was super dissatisfied. after receiving my money back I came to this place on my way to work. What can I say other than I know where I'm getting my breakfast from if I'm on the run now. The food was atmosphere was great and so were the smoothies.

A small ,but impeccably put together, choice of Italian food ,together with the best bread ( Italian style ) in Jersey City Heights. If you're looking for the generic Italian/American style pizzeria, this is not the place for you. If you want the most authentic Italian food available anywhere, then go here. (I lived in Italy for 3 years.)

This pizzeria and bakery is a very welcome addition to The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City. It is owned and operated by an acclaimed bread maker Rick Easton. Behind an inconspicuous facade is hidden arguably the best pizza and Italian breads in the New York City metro area. These days they are only open twice a week for pick up only but every time I drive by there is a line.

Another amazing visit. This time we got their famous focaccia barese, mortadella on pizza bianca, bean soup, and a bomboloni. The focaccia is as amazing as it looks, although we actually loved it even more room temp once we got home than piping hot when we first got it. The bean soup was also incredible, and I'll be dreaming of that sandwich until next time we get here -- I definitely want to try more of their sandwiches on pizza bianca.
