Bourbons Bistro

Nice facility although there is no privacy and I suspect it will be noisy when full. Excellent service, friendly and efficient. The bread served with the meal was outstanding although the quantity of butter that came with it was miniscule. The shrimp and grits were fantastic, about the best I have ever eaten. The salmon was excellent and the apple cake was exceptional.

This place was incredible. The flavors were amazing and they know how to cook their meat and season their sides. My wife got the New York strip (sorry no picture) and I wish I had gotten that because of how good it was. And the pork chops were great too. Our waitress (Wendy) was very friendliest and very knowledgeable of the menu and the head chef himself came out and ask the customers how everyone and everything was. The staff was very friendly! Highly recommend this place - we will be back!

Nice ambiance, great service, awesome food, good bourbon.

First, we had reserved on valentines and the seating was booked for all but the high tops, which was fine with us. When we arrived, we were offered a table, which was a pleasant surprise.

The menu is short, but like all good restaurants serving a short menu, the food on it was exceptional. I had the bourbon pork, and it was superb.

We followed with the bourbon bread pudding which was excellent and the cheesecake, also very good.

The bourbon and wine menu is what you would expect for a place such as this and if you like to peruse, you'll have no problem taking more time than normal to select what you want. I know I did and enjoyed it.

Our waitress was quite nice and stopped in all at the right times. We were greeted when we entered and again when we were leaving. Staff makes you feel special and for the pricetag I suppose it's expected. That said, it was well worth it and we will most definitely be back. One of the better bourbon restaurants I've been to.

I will steer friends and family away from this place, we did place a pick up order 30 minutes before closing so that may have been the reason for poor service. We ordered 2 bourbon burgers well cooked and what we received was rare and the fries were awful. That s not what did it for us though, since we would ve been happy with a replacement. We called ahead for replacements and when we arrived we were accused of being drunk and rude. They lost our business and anyone I can convince to not go, very disappointed.

Had a great meal celebrating my daughter's engagement. Bourbon Bistro made it a very special occasion. Food was fantastic, service was prompt, warm and attentative. They tailored the meal. Thanks for a memorable occasion celebrating a lifetime event.

Hands down the best spot in town for bourbon. The selection and choices of bourbon are unbelievable. If you truly appreciate bourbon, this restaurant is focused around that! Food was unbelievable. Staff is very friendly and great at making suggestions. This is definately going to be a new frequent for my wife and I! J, you are the man! Thanks for the great experience you shared with my wife and I. It will be an unforgettable evening and a memory that will last a lifetime. Looking forward to the next one!

Lives up to its name! Ridiculous bourbon selection and excellent food to match! Cocktail list is great as well! Took my wife here for her birthday and we'll definitely make Bourbons Bistro a go to for our future birthday celebrations!

This may be the best meal I ve ever had from start to finish! The ambiance is fantastic, the selection of bourbon is plenty and the staff/ownership are top notch. This place is a little on the more expensive side but it was worth every penny! I can t wait to frequent Bourbons when I m down in the Louisville area.

There were five of us here to celebrate two birthdays. The server Megan, was excellent. The food not so much. When we finally received our orders, all were cold. When we asked to have the orders replaced, our server immediately took everything back. Unfortunately the manager came out with a serious attitude and was very upset that we were not happy. The food was returned and over cooked til it was blackened.. It came out burnt and not edible. The second time it was sent back , it was better, but not everything was hot. The manager never came back to see if we were satisfied, she simply left the server and bartender to fend for themselves because by this time they were closing.
Would not go back there and would not recommend to anyone else. Very unfortunate as this has been a highly recommended place and first impressions were terrible .
