We are founded by Innovation Norway, The Research Council of Norway, Arts Council Norway and almost 200 private investors, many of them customers. BoldBooks offers a marketplace with quality-assured writing services, such as editors, proofreaders, cover designers, print services and so on. BoldBooks is concerned with good quality in book publishing. The subcontractors have been through an approval process before they can be listed on the site. In this way, independent authors gain access to the same resources and professionals that traditional publishers use. The author become their own publisher and retain rights, control and income. We guide the authors through all the steps in the publishing process through a tailor-made author journey. Here they get an estimated time and price for their project, and an explanation of what will happen when. They also get access to skilled advisors with various specialties.
