This is a cute little wine bar, drinks and apps are pricey so expect to pay a good bit. The atmosphere was cozy and we went on a rainy evening and the staff inside was very friendly(which always comes as a surprise in New York). In love with the Bellini and the pizza flatbread was really filling for two people.

Can we take off the stars for this review?
Wanted to get a quick dessert and drinks with my partner and went up to order. I ordered two beverages and a dessert. Right after the gentlemen taking our order told us we needed to get a full meal in order to sit down. I said I was ordering dessert and fries he quickly answered you can only get Truffle fries from the whole appetizer list, while there was regular fries as well. Which is considered food as well, while other restaurants aren t requiring a full on entree with a glass of wine. I find this Ridiculous, especially with restaurants trying to stay above float. Definitely not coming back.

I went last week to Blvd for my birthday. Chef Batya Goldberg created the most amazing chef's tasting menu, paired perfectly with 3 different wine selections. Each dish was beautifully plated, and the taste exceeded its presentation. The white truffle mushroom soup, in particular, was exceptional - I still don't believe it was dairy-free. I highly recommend BLVD. It ranks amongst the best of NYC.

What a fantastic staff!! Michael and Eileen are superstars and always know how to make everyone feel welcome. It means so much to have amazingly friendly people that offer great service in New York City. Being from out of state the area can be overwhelming; but I can attest to the great and familiar atmosphere at BLVD. I would recommend anyone to try this unique spot!!

I absolutely love this place! Wine is great, house ricotta is beyond but the best aspect is the service. Michael and Eileen are amazing- so sweet, friendly and attentive. They really make customers feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend this establishment!

A new place with a great atmosphere: clean and comfortable. Even the bar stools are comfortable. if wine was food, I'd say the selection is delicious. I didn't taste a bad wine here. also, try the wines on tap. apparently mid January 2015 they will start to serve food. I'll definitely be back to try that. beautiful view of the east river and the Manhattan skyline. I don't know if you call it b.l.v.d or Boulevard.

I wish I could say something amazing about this place but I can only say that one of the bartenders smiled. So there is a good thing. My date and I got there at 2:50pm and brunch ended at 3pm. No biggie. We stood for a glass of wine. Mind you no one was ordering now because brunch was Iver and two women were behind the bar. We sat there for 15 min until she brought over a wine menu and that is only because my date went and asked for one. Then it took her 15 min to come back. The Riesling was disgusting. It tasted like cheap dry Pinot Grigio. When he asked if she was sure she gave us Riesling she said yes, showed the bottle and said it's the only one they had. We even told her it tasted bad but nothing was offered like maybe a different wine. We paid the bill at the bar and left because if we waited at our table I'd probably be writing this from there because I'd STILL be waiting for the bill. Sad because it's a cute place.

Loved this place! Went for oyster happy hour. Oysters were standard and 1 dollar during happy hour. Wine was a great value. The rest of the menu was good as well. What stood out here was the bar staff. Kind, friendly, patient, informed and dedicated to make sure you enjoy your drink by having a convo before hand. Definitely will be back here!

I ordered the crispy duck hash and a mimosa, which was a splendid way to start my day. The duck itself was somewhat dry and there was far more greens than I was expecting, but the egg was poached absolutely perfectly and brought the whole dish together. Altogether a very delightful experience and would definitely want to go back to try the Lobster Bacon Benny.

It's in kind of a charmless building but the interior space is well designed and the proximity to the water is great in the summer. Servers are knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and you can get some really interesting stuff by the glass. Don't miss happy hour or some of he weekday specials. Has an indescribable factor that makes it better than the sum of its parts--must be the people.

I arrived with 3 guests while the place wasnt busy at all we waited a while to be seated. The waiter began aggressively pushing onto us to purchase bottles of wine at $150 dollars and up and also informed us that we cannot eat there unless we all purchased dinner and appetizers. We decided to leave thereafter due to being ignored and waiting over 25 minutes to place any type of order. We wont be returning to this horrific establishment due to this strange behavior by the staff. I sure hope the Owner is proud of his service to his customers.

BLVD is a pretty small spot so you probably need a reservation during peak times. There is a bar area and a small room in the back that has a few tables. Came in with a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon. We had a reservation so no issues getting seated. On weekend afternoons, they only have brunch options (just figured out should know in case you come in here expecting lunch).

I had the tartines, you can pick any three from the five options. I got these three:

2. House guacamole, ricotta, Roma plum tomatoes, balsamic glaze
3. Seasonal fruit, ricotta, honey

The seasonal fruit one was probably by favorite, it was a very interesting combination of berries and and ricotta.
