my brother attended bishop blanchet and graduated in 2010.
he loved it . he was very very prepared for college , was able to get many oppurtunity's with him being a great athlete , and most importantly excelled in school due to teacher support . The tutiton price may seem scary , and i know thats what really makes people re think and consider public school .. but there is scholorships , if your child isnt as academically succsessful or qualifed , tution assitance is avaliable . when he was attending her recived a total of 10,000 dollars . Blanchet is a great school .. i highly reccomend

I am currently attending BBHS and love it. I just read all of the reviews and saw what horrible things people are saying about my school... it saddens me greatly. Academics are ok? I am taking two college courses and two APs. Just because we have a slow track for students who need it doesn't mean academics are "okay". I have many friends who go to other schools. Drinking, drugs, and making fun of people is part of any school. In my opinion and from my friends who go to other schools it is much worse at other catholic and public schools. The "old set in their ways teachers" don't exist. I have never had to find an old textbook to match up to homework or anything of the sort. My teachers support and help me at every turn and actively ask if I need help with anything. Many who I had previously but no longer have this year (Junior year) say hello to me in the hall and ask how everything is going. Blanchet is a loving community that has supported me for three great years. BBHS is not a place for a well rounded student? I am in all honors or AP or UW in high school classes and do a sport all year around. I participate in National Honors Society, German Club, and the Freshman Welcome/Brave Connection. I am a leader in Boy Scouts outside of school. Don't listen to people that say Blanchet is a terrible school or anything of the sort. I love Banchet and would never dream of changing schools or going anywhere else.
