BIOBank provides all the activities of a tissue bank provided for by Article L.1243-2 of the Public Health Code (authorization since September 29, 2003), from tissue management (collection) to delivery secure plugins. These steps include, among others, the biological selection of donors and the actual transformation of bone grafts. All these operations are done in compliance with the rules of Good Practice of Tissue Banks set by the decision of ANSM (National Agency for the Safety of Medicines) of 27 October 2010 transposing the European Directives into the French regulations.As for any tissue bank, the activities of BIOBank are subject to an authorization issued by the ANSM. Similarly, the bone grafts are grouped by families according to their shapes (anatomical, geometric, granules, powders, platelets) which benefit from a unique marketing authorization issued by the ANSM. BIOBank also has an authorization to export its plugins delivered by the ANSM.
