Went to Berthoud vision for life for a general check-up/exam and couldn't believe how thorough they were! The last few places I've used was in and out real quick like and I just felt like another number. Berthoud vision for life showed me they care and spent the time with me and answered all my questions or concerns in a language that is easily understood. Thank you for the excellent service and welcoming me as a new patient.
Solid. One of the best eye doctors.
Dr. Eland has been my eye doctor for over 10 years. He did a great job preparing my wife for Lasik. He found that my daughter needed bifocals as a teenager. He spent close to an extra hour with her on one visit to ensure that she had the right prescription. He provides excellent care to his patients and is very thorough.
I would not trust my eye care to anyone else. Dr. Eland is friendly, knowledgeable, and cares about you. I've been going there for 3 years and recently had an emergency. He gave up his lunch hour to help me out.
Great Place to get glasses and contacts. Very knowledgeable, friendly and large selection of glasses to choose from. My mom is always getting complements on her glasses. and Mine look awesome too. Everett.
Dr. Eland and the staff at Berthoud Vision for Life are knowledgeable and friendly. I actually enjoy coming in for my yearly vision screening! The new office is comfortable and spacious. I would highly recommend Dr. Eland and his staff to anyone searching for an "eye doctor" in the Berthoud area.

My family and I are new patients at Berthoud Vision. Dr. Eland was awesome! It was so nice to go to a doctors office and actually be seen by the doctor at your appointment time and not 30 minutes later. We also really appreciate how great Dr. Eland was with our children. I would highly recommend him to families. After a bad experience at a different eye doctor I was so relieved to find this practice.

The staff and doctors here are fantastic. I've been to several eye doctors and am very happy with the service I receive here. Update 3/2019: Dr. Eland and staff are still just as good as the first day I met them. Everyone is very friendly; Dr. Eland is very knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly.
My visit to Dr. Eland was perfect! Greeted with a smile, waited less that 5 minutes (yes there were others in and out), treated with interest and cordiality and handled with professionalism. Options were presented. Office was CLEAN and appropriate sanitary methods were used to my satisfaction. I WILL refer others. A credit to his profession and my sight.
My experience at Berthoud Vision for Life was just delightful. Dr. Eland and his staff were incredibly nice and very helpful. My father, husband and daughter are also patients at this clinic and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I have a nerve issue on the left side above my ear and they were so very helpful in helping me pick out new glasses and sunglasses that fit just perfectly. I can't wait to get them!
Great office. Friendly staff always wanting to help. Technicians and doctors are very knowledgable. Never felt rushed or uncomfortable. You are treated as if you are the most important patient they have. I highly recommend this office if you need eye care.
I have a very high prescription and have struggled all my life to find an eye doctor where I feel comfortable, as well as someone who can properly correct my vision. I used to have severe anxiety about going to the eye doctor. I began going to Berthoud Vision for Life and while it is still stressful for me due to my vision challenges and the emotions that go with that, the staff here is so compassionate and patient and kind. They go above and beyond to show respect and care for their patients. This eye doctor has truly changed my life for the better. Plus, they are very smart -- I had a complicated eye infection in 2019 that took 6 months to clear up. They figured out I was allergic to saline solution and got me in contacts that worked for my eyes. I don't know what I would do without this place. THANK YOU.

Somewhat of a small selection of frames, and I believe they're a little pricey. However, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff have my vote, and my return business. Thank you!

Dr Eland makes this place shine! As consumers I think we become so accustomed to our doctors spending as little time as possible with us. Dr Eland is the exception. My husband has a somewhat rare eye condition and Dr Eland spent close to 2 hours answering questions and doing all he could to help my husband leave his office seeing better than when he came in. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone! The entire staff is awesome! I didn't catch her name but the front desk lady is equally as awesome and helpful! Truly an exceptional office!
