Really quite a terrible experience. The staff were extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. One employee talked down to me so much and acted as if she wanted me to leave her alone as I was trying to buy my items. Also, this is the second time I have gone and their electronic system was down and they were accepting cash only, which is ridiculous considering the price of most items. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the curated options in the store are quite good.
This is a placeholder for this location, however, I've visited many of these stores in Japan, and they usually tend to have a lot of rare high end and lower end clothing and is a popular vintage and second hand store chain throughout Japan.
Some prices tend to be high, but it really depends on the quality of the item as well as the brand.
Update: as suspected, what I wrote of the Japanese stores reflects the same. Some high prices, but some pretty low, too. Many famous name brands, and the styles age range from teen to adult, high end and mid end.
Awesome store. great variety of stuff. I went in to buy for myself, I didnt find anything for me, but ended up getting three things for family members who all loved them. Ill come back
They will rip you off and then sell your items for the real price. Don t sell your clothes here, just donate if you don t need the money like I did.
I have to admit they have some really cool stuff here.
Beware of selling your high end items..unfortunately they really don t credit you a fair value. I had a Canada goose jacket that was over $1k perfect condition with tags, as well as two pairs of jeans that were $$$, I was beside myself when they said $250 for everything! I had to decline.
Better to sell online.
I was going to sell clothes here and it was A TOTAL SCAM. They offered me TWO DOLLARS for FOUR THINGS. Wasted my time
The store has the best vintage comme des garcons and pleats please collection in NYC. definitely a go.
2nd Street originally came from Tokyo, Japan, and it is not your typical used clothing store, where you would find a hidden gem for way under retail price once in a while. Instead, it focuses on big name designer and streetwear brands like More
The collection here is EXTENSIVE hennyyyy! Spent over an hour and a half here...found some awesome jeans!
Best store to resell clothes in NYC! Friendly service as well as a great understanding of streetwear. Nice selection of Supreme and a pretty cool variety of thrift tees. Always a good experience!!! Check it out!
Cool spot. Saw a lot of high end and hypebeast stuff, but what really caught my eye was all the japanese denim brands I found (Orslow, Momotaro, Evisu). The staff is also very friendly and welcoming.
It seems like just another store from the outside but wow do they have a collection! The prices are definitely up there so get any "thrift store" ideas out of your head. With that said, if you are just looking to browse in order to get your hands on some designer goods you wouldn't be able to at full price, this is the place to go! It's super well organized & the staff is friendly & knowledgeable.
