Beginnings school

We toured this school and LOVED it! We loved that they send a detailed daily email explaining what the children learned and that they have an amazing curriculum, even for infants and toddlers. The space is great - I loved that they had a mini (really flat) stair case for exploring in the infant room, and a garden for the kids. There was also lots of natural light in the classrooms. A new job took me in the opposite direction from the location, but otherwise I would have chosen this school from my daughter in a heartbeat.

I have been teaching at Beginnings School since January 2015 and I still come to work happy every day. Our unique program about children s social and emotional needs has been a game changer for me as an early educator. Not only have I seen a difference in many young children s ability to express their emotions, but it has also made me a far better teacher that I ever imagined to be because, I too, am able to use the same social and emotional skills that I have taught to young children. I have been a part of and heard about other childcare programs and I can honestly say that Beginnings is not a daycare. It is the most professional, dedicated, and caring school out there. The director and assistant director are easy to talk to, always there to guide you, and are great role models for not only me, but for everyone who decides to be a part of this great teaching team.

We have truly enjoyed the past 3 years at Beginnings! The team has been an emotional rock for our child and for us as learning parents, especially through the pandemic. Our child is safe, loved and learning and we are grateful to have Beginnings as part of our 'village'.

I have both of my kids at Beginnings. Everyone here is so friendly and we feel it like a home. My kids have a fantastic time here. Compared to other childcares, teachers in Beginnings pays extra attention on social emotional support. I like that each classroom has a calm-down station where kids can spend some private time when they are angry or upset. Teachers encourage the kids to express their feelings in an appropriate and efficient way. Both of my children are so calm and well behaved and I ve never experienced terrible 2 or horrible 3. If I have a third child, I will send him/her to Beginnings without a hesitation.

The teachers and administration at Beginnings deeply care for and love the work that they do. If you are looking for professional, high-quality early education, this is the place. The teachers are well-trained to scaffold the most important dimensions of early learning: social-emotional development and self-help skills. Pre-academic tasks are weaved through play and conversation and children are quick to adopt a growth mindset, which is one of the most necessary indicators of future success. I highly recommend Beginnings for any parent or educator looking for a truly special, unique school that will give them or their children the tools needed to thrive.

There aren t enough words available to express our gratitude Beginnings School. We have found so much comfort and confidence in knowing our child is receiving great care from passionate staff, education from very qualified teachers in an close knit setting and the daily passion to learn in the fun lessons, and engaging environment. With a very active four year old we were worried to find a school that could help teach/build/grow our son in a way that accepted/fit his personality and we have truly found the perfect place!

Joining the Beginnings School family was the best decision we made this year. Every single teacher and administrator welcomed us with open arms and made us feel so comfortable, even during the pandemic when everything was up in the air. Our son's teachers are kind, intelligent women who are clearly very passionate about what they do, and always take the time to talk to me about his growth and development. We look forward to watching our son flourish at Beginnings over the next few years.

Our daughter has been in Beginnings for the past 3 years and our 19 month old son started his journey this March. It has been a wonderful and enriching experience for our family. Our daughter benefits a lot from its ECSEL program which promotes self-regulation, empathy, and other critical social-emotional skills foundational to emotional intelligence for little and young kids. Ms. Angela and Ms. Linda are nice but professional. All the teachers we have met are patient, caring and responsible. Beginnings has a very good teacher student ratio to make sure all the kids get enough attention at school. The teachers work on curriculums for infant to preK programs covering all kind of topics and send out daily summary to the families. We are so satisfied with our experience at Beginnings!

We ve had an absolutely wonderful experience at Beginnings! My two children attend the school, and I ve seen them grow dramatically in terms of both academic learning and emotional intelligence. The teachers and administrators are extremely knowledgeable about early childhood development, and they really care about helping the kids succeed. The school itself has a really warm and inviting vibe, and the grounds include a field to run in, a playground, and even a treehouse!

I joined the Beginnings School team in August of 2020 as a preschool teacher. The warm and welcoming environment has allowed me to form meaningful connections with staff, families, and children. I look forward to continuing to grow and learn alongside the children and faculty at Beginnings School.
