Terrible partners who do not care about their staff and are only interested in their own salaries

In my experience, this law firm overcharges wildly and puts their own bottom line before the welfare of their clients. I lost $185,000 simply because they were too arrogant to fully explain my options and sloppy in communicating. Not recommended if you value good, careful service.

DO NOT USE. Totally ineffective, irresponsible and unaccountable for their actions and billing. Act without your instructions and try to bill you for it. Then they won't respond to billing enquiries. They also use Family Report Writers they 'like' even if it adds significant legal expenses to your matter, they know the Report Writer can be biased (against you) and won't respond to follow up questions. You will be worse off using this company. DON'T DO IT. They over engineer legal documents. Create legal documents that are not needed. Write letter after letter that achieve nothing. Give incorrect advice or advice after the fact. Act too late so work becomes redundant.

HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO COURT BEFORE SUCCESSFULLY BEFORE FOR OVER BILLING. SADLY - THEY COULD HAVE JUST ADMITTED IT FOR THE POOR MOTHER. BUT NO. THEY FORCED FOR THROUGH THE COURT SYSTEM. I now have to do the same.

They also align themselves with charities to try and 'look' empathetic. They are nothing more than a billing machine. What other service can you think about that can bill so much and be totally unaccountable for any delivery??

Was disappointed with handling of my divorce, and frequent errors to legal documents. They charged me for time to rectify their own errors. It happened too many times to pass as mistakes.

My advice would be - don't go near this firm if you have a Family Court matter that involves domestic violence. In my opinion they have no idea what they are doing.
I found them to be a patriarchal, stuffed shirt of a company with very poor communication skills and no empathy. They seriously underestimated my ex-partner despite what I kept telling them. There was nothing redeeming about them and I regret staying with them but having never been through court before I knew no better.
This is not my real name but I was a real client for three years.
I ended up in court and I lost (or they lost for me - after all the win goes to the people with the best legal team and I didn't have it).

Big fees. A 2 year delay. Accuracy okay but not great. IF I did my divorce again I would avoid lawyers all together .
