Very nice bar, but horrible service. We sat for over an hour and was only attended to once, and it was not even busy. After being told that the beer was on happy hour and then ordering them, when we went to pay we were told it was not happy hour price because we ordered large beers. Did see some hipster wearing a monocle, which is the only reason why I gave 2 stars and not one... monocles need to make a come back because they are awesome.

Highly recommended. Very nice and well-kept restaurant located right on the bay with a view of San Francisco. Very pleasant and friendly welcome and service. The sandwich in amazing photo. The best sandwich eaten so far in itself. F. Excellent quality meat that melts in the mouth. The beyond burgers for vegans are also excellent. Truly a place to come back to.

The atmostphere, location and food here is all really great. The service wasn't over the top amazing however. I wish the prices weren't as steep and we would have probably ordered more. He had the burger and I the chicken - both were great. I thought the restaurant was unique and had a interesting structure that was integrated throughout.

I am a 26 year old male that has worked in the food industry all through my teen to early 20 years. I have worked as a busser, host and waiter and knows good customer service when I see it.

My girlfriend and I wanted to have a nice lunch for our anniversary and decided to go here since it had really good reviews. Immediately upon walking into this establishment during the afternoon of Feb 15th and speaking to the host, I felt extremely uncomfortable. There was nobody waiting to be seated, plenty of open tables, and certainly enough places for my girlfriend and I to sit. I was advised it would take up to, let me emphasize, "ONE HOUR" to be seated. Ok, whatever. I said I would wait. Fast forward 10 minutes, I see an empty table that seats two, I'm told a couple has been waiting for that particular table for "a long time." Ok no big deal. So I am asked if I would like to sit at this awkward table in the corner of the room next to the waiting area with no other tables around, no thanks, I want a better table for the both of us. The couple that was waiting for the table that I had asked about earlier shows up, but are seated elsewhere, probably a "better" table. If they were seated elsewhere right away, why was I not seated? Then after the couple was seated, the hostess sat us in the SAME table I had asked about earlier. I take first impressions very seriously and this place has not given me a good one.

I did enjoy my meal and our waitress was "on top" of things and for the most part did a really good job. The hostess on the other hand really needs to rethink how she sits her customers. Very pathetic in my opinion. For the managers, please pay attention to how your customers are treated. I may not look like your average "local," but that's exactly how I felt like I was treated. Somebody that doesn't "belong." Long story short, I will NOT be returning and will never recommend this place to anybody.

The barrel house is a fun place especially after you have bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge and worked your way to this beautiful dining experience.. we were seated outside over looking the bay and that in itself made it worth the hour wait..

The vegan burger was ok and the drinks were ok..

The vibe and place is a cool place for people in there 20 s,30 s, and up!! Fun for family with little kids too!!

The bartenders were super friendly..

The Barrel House looks like your typical mainstreet Sausolito restaurant. The building is situated on the waterside and so there are some phenomenal views of the City. The service was good, and the menu was definitely interesting. A great place to have a drink overlooking the ocean while waiting for your ferry back to reality.

Great location for lunch. We ordered the meatball and pumpkin soup appraiser and for the main ordered mussels and sole fish. Our food was amazing and would recommend it to all only down side was the service. Our server didn't check on us or see if we needed anything, one of our sides was completely missed and he presumptuously brought the bill without even asking if we wanted coffee or dessert... Which we did want.
I would go back for the food and view but not for the slow service.

First time for us coming here. The service was solid, which for us is usually the most delicate experience. The views are good, excellent environment (both in terms of design and coziness as well as active social life). The artichoke dip was amazing, as was the calamari. I had the salmon which was fine but falls short of extraordinary. Bourbon hit the spot just right. Looking forward to coming here again.

One of the best views of the city. Especially delightful to take in while sipping bloody marys and chomping down on the delicious garlic fries. The food here is just as good as the view. Great for a few beers with the boys, talking about life. Or for a date with a girl, talking about a life together.
