My husband and I had our joint 40th birthday party at Grands Rapids Brewing Company. We had the entire back portion of the restaurant to ourselves including the game room. We had our own wait staff who were incredibly attentive. The food was fabulous and you get a lot for your money! We were beyond impressed and would highly recommend Shane at Barfly Ventures to help plan your next event!

If I could, I would give Shane & the Bar Fly team a 100 out of 10! Shane saved the day when our thought-to-be-chosen caterer backed out (luckily pretty early on in the process). We came in for a meeting and were immediately sold on his personality and clear talent for events (without even tasting the food yet). He was laid back but on top of things. The best of all worlds!

Throughout our entire wedding planning process, Shane had the best "can-do" attitude and really blew us all away. Delicious food was my top priority when planning the wedding - none of that retirement home chicken stuff. We tasted at a couple other locations and nothing compared to Bar Fly when it came to personality AND food deliciousness. He customized options to our liking and even invited some things we had in mind too.

His team that was on site all wedding weekend (including him) was so lovely and pleasant. We ended up using them for our welcome party, reception, and farewell brunch. People RAVED (and still are raving) about the food.

Can't wait to go to some of their restaurants next time we're in Grand Rapids!

Absolute horrible service. Food was good, but getting threatened because the bar tender couldn t serve was bs! Plus the manager on duty seemed to let it go...

Bad management, got rid of Vladimir Poutine at Hopcat. Broke my heart. Smashed it on the ground. Threw it in a wood chipper. Then set it on fire.
