Excellent food, friendly staff, excellent service. Ordered 2 baos, the lobster one and the pork bao. My favorite was the lobster bao with delicious sauce. Really good restaurant if you re at Harrods.
Waitress gave us back outdated local bills knowing we were tourists. Would avoid this restaurant. Now we have a bunch of bills that no other stores in London accept
Probably the best authentic Tonkotsu Ramen I've ever had. Lots of other incredible dishes including Bao with Wagyu etc. The cocktail I had, was a perfect balance between fruity and a nice spirit.
Great food but much too expensive. Was able to get seated very quickly and staff were friendly. This place makes a nice stop when shopping in Harrods and the food and drinks are tasty, well presented and also feel somewhat healthy. Food is good, but not excellent. Service is polite if a bit slow. Crispy noodles expensive at GBP 23. Poussin at 18 GBP still not cheap but better value. Atmosphere is impersonal, no character. A good stop if you are shopping at Harrods but nothing special.
The xlb lack the aesthetic beauty of true culinary jewels. Also they mostly lacked soup and had no vegetables (just meat inside). That said it s not the restaurant s specialty. The titular bao are the little Asian sandwiches which are so popular these days. DH had some and declared them good as well...
