I just got my rear hub fixed for my trip to Edinburgh. Perfect and ultra friendly service between the seats. "the new guy" is awesomely friendly and helpful. The espresso makes a great combination with the brownies!

Took my bike in for a complete group set change. Fantastic job. Nick is very knowledgeable. Would fully recommend this place for any work you need on your bike.

Food and coffee are top quality! Was only in Newcastle for 48 hours and ended up going here twice. Once for tea and the second time for Brunch with the family. Absolutely delicious, well priced, and top quality. V friendly staff in the cafe and the bike shop. Will be recommending!

Nic lives and loves bikes. He also has a wealth of knowledge to help you customise and specify exactly what you want. I wanted a ultimate winter training / commuting and Audax Bike.

Ended up ordereing a KInesis GTD Ti with a fork and Kinesis Guards from Nic, and purchased all the other cockpit and drive train parts direct, which he then assembled.

Excellent service and consumer advice all at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Really nice place. A mix of industrial and cousy style. Leather couches, wood tables. Nice cakes (soon they will have scones), great look over the river. Delightful coffee.

Bad hot chocolate.. Dark hot chocolate didnt taste like chocolate at all and the milk hot chocolate was so bad we had to leave it... Would not come back

Popped in for a bit of brunch on a blustery Saturday morning. First impressions were that it's a very trendy and welcoming place and it's really quirky as it's within repurposed shipping containers!

Staff were very friendly and attentive and explained the need for track and trace registration when entering.

The coffee was excellent and the chai latte was delicious too. My partner and I had sausage and bacon baps respectively; the ingredients and presentation were top quality and tasted delicious.

We were really happy with our experience and will definitely come back to visit again!

Been going for 2 years now and it's honestly the nicest, warmest and kindest place to go in Newcastle, the staff are wonderful and the coffee is extraordinary!

I've just used the shop for the first time and felt like a truly valued customer already. The guys were friendly and had time to stop and chat with me. They had all the parts I needed, bar one, which has been ordered in for collection. The space is lovely and I already know how good the coffee is.

Stopped by for a late night drink whilst wandering around the shipping containers that now house bars and restaurants under the Tyne Bridge. Quite small and busy, took a wee while to be served. This was mainly due to the construction of a series of highly complex cocktails, which looked great. A range of craft beers and spirits, most of which were unfamiliar to me. Service was very friendly and helpful. A good place for a late night drink, relaxed vibe and not too hectic.

Visited this establishment for lunch today. Enjoyed a lovely meal of smoked salmon and cream cheese on sourdough, followed by a white chocolate cookie with a lemon cheesecake topping! It was as nice as it sounds. My coffee was strong (I drink it without milk) but full of flavour. The staff were very friendly. Thought it was good value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Overly priced, over sold, under delivered food. If you are limiting your menu to less than a dozen items in totality then make sure you actually HAVE those items. Pathetic, hipster nonsense and this is coming from a hipster douche

The food is excellent and so is the coffee. I recommend the ricotta pancakes, you won't be sorry.

Great service done on two road/race bikes which are now running better than ever.

Had a bike problem on the way home from work. I remembered a sign for a bike shop when i'd had a beer in the River Brew bar next door. The friendly mechanic was really helpful and i was on my way home in no time. Ill definitely be back.

Friendly and efficient service. Busy on a Saturday afternoon in January. Outside seating overlooking river. Not cheap.

Lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. The marinated squash was delicious.

The coffee here is the best, most expertly brewed in Newcastle. They use pink lane coffee and get amazing flavours in the pour over and the espresso is stunning as well. Also, it's right on the river and an excellent atmosphere inside. Can't reccomend highly enough.

This place is top draw. I can not recommend Nic highly enough. Really cool place and always happy to help. The only place I would consider taking my bikes! I've had bikes built and numerous repairs. Oh and the coffee and view ain't bad either

Best coffee spot in Newcastle, staff have excellent knowledge on coffee, and steer you in the right direction. A must visit.
