Just completed the Garden of England tour. It was well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. Our tour leader,Tony Knight was exceptional in his professionalism and interpersonal skills. He added that extra element that makes you look forward to every day.

D-DAY tour was excellent. Very good guide, interesting itinerary, timed just right. Hotel stay was pleasant. Highly recommended.

In July 2016, we did a 9-day tour with Back-Roads Touring Co, 'La Belle France'. We travelled in a new and well-maintained mini coach, maximum of 16 people, although there were only 14 of us, a good number. The tour included accommodation, some meals, and, of course, a guide.

The tour took us to Normandy, Brittany and The Loire Valley - areas that I hadn't travelled to before. And it was excellent. Our guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable and informative and he brought the history to life again in his colourful descriptions of the places we were visiting. He also, when the weather and time allowed, organised picnic lunches for us, which were most enjoyable and not on the itinerary.

This is the first time I have used this company and I would use them again, I cannot recommend them more highly.

Highlights of Britain tour in May 2019. Very enjoyable and will hopefully be back in the future for Eastern and Southern England tour. The tour is more leisurely than other tours which are more rushed.

Good food and local Back road experiences travelling to places that the monster impersonal coaches can't get to.

We just finished A Scottish Journey with Back-Roads and had a blast! Our guide and driver were both exceptional. Everything went smoothly, the information presented and the stops were exactly what we were interested in. This was such an exceptional experience we are already planning our next tour with them. I highly recommend this company.

Some minor problems with new drivers but otherwise absolutely excellent. Been on 5 or 6 of their trips. Excellent choices ofhotels. Time to wander but guided. On one trip the driver actually steered the bus passed the house where I grew up and stopped(!) so I could take a photo.
