I’m giving AA Auto Care and Tire in Houston a huge thumbs down. My daughter bought an older Bronco there and since she doesn’t know much about cars and we live 200 miles away, we relied on their reputation. Instead, it was a nightmare. She got stranded multiple times after they charged her for repairs, having to get towed each time. They replaced the distributor to fix a "variable miss," then made her wait days for a timing light. Even after that, she was stranded again. When I finally went to pick it up, the engine was rattling loudly and running rough because they hadn’t adjusted the timing properly. They also skipped replacing the old spark plugs and wires, which is basic practice when swapping a distributor. I know it’s a simple fix because I adjusted the timing and changed the plugs myself, and now the Bronco runs perfectly. We spent thousands at this shop and still couldn’t drive the car, forcing my daughter to take the bus. It was incredibly frustrating to see her treated so poorly. We definitely won’t be going back.
