ASIFA-East is a non-profit organization that serves as the Eastern U.S. chapter of ASIFA, an international organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of animation. Based in New York City, ASIFA-East has been at the forefront of advancing animation as an art form since its inception in 1969.
With a membership that includes animators, filmmakers, students, educators, and enthusiasts from all over the East Coast and beyond, ASIFA-East is a vibrant community that celebrates all aspects of animation.
