I've worked for Aquatech Pool management for eight years and out of all of the other jobs I've had this one is the best! The hours are great, the schedule is super flexible and the people you meet are great. They truly do their best to invest a significant amount of time in their employees when it comes to on sight training and expectations. They were the first company I worked for and the management skills I learned from this company have helped me get to where I am today.

Best company I have ever worked for!! I have been with the company 6 years now. I have made life time friends because of this job. Lifeguarding is not for everyone, but for the people it is for becomes the best summer job to have. I would HIGHLY recommend working for Aquatech Pool Managerment. This is a company that I know has my back!

My neighborhood pool growing up has been serviced by Aquatech for as long as I can remember and it has always been well taken care of.
I have spent the last 2 summers working for them to put myself through college and it has been a great experience. I had learned a lot during that time. It wasn't always easy but LIFEGUARDUNG IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! If your teenager is a brat with a short attention span, who slacks off, and has terrible people skills then they will have a terrible experience with Aquatech because they won't blend with the Aquatech culture.

Worked for ATPM about ten years ago in college, moved away for a while then came back to Charlotte. Such an awesome company that I decided to come back! Lifeguarding isn't as easy as people think but it really can teach you skills you will use later in life! It's a fun job if you make it!

Aqua tech's lifeguards manage our pools in our neighborhood. Unfortunately half of there pool rules violate the Federal Housing Act because they discriminate against children. One of our rules in general says that if your kid wears arm wings or a life jacket that they cant be more then arms length from you. Basically your kid has to stay in the 1ft unless you get in the water with them and you cant supervise them from the side of the pool. It also mandates the 15 minute adult swim which is illegal by the FHA. At this point we are so fed up with them and wouldnt recommend there service to anyone with kids. Oh and there lifeguards dont even put up the umbrellas at your pool, turn on the mushrooms so the kids can play under them, and sit on there phones texting almost all day instead of actually doing there jobs.

Horrible management. Your voice will not be heard at this company. Management is spread too thin. Managers are not respected. Guards are allowed to get away with horrible behavior that negatively impacts staff and pool members/patrons repeatedly. Do not work for this company if you wish to protect the safety of patrons above all else.

Our community hired this community. Managers were ok, but employees were extremely disappointing. Employees not trained well, played board games/texted all day & then attempt to call artificial sound/thunder weather delays/yell at children (Nyla) & refuse to give their name when wanting to report dissatisfaction, which is extremely unprofessional. No employee should ever talk back & accuse paying adult patrons of harassment + not reveal their names. Incredibly unprofessional & will not hire this company in the future.

I wish it was possible to give Zero stars for this horrible discriminatory management company. Me and my family were selectively picked out of the crowd while enjoying a day at the pool and asked for proof of residency with no legitimate complaints against us. Out of about 50 residents at the pool, we were selected and questioned about our proof of residency even with bearing our key fob. The staff was extremely rude and would not provide us a reason as to why we were selected and questioned. On top of that, the pool manager stated this was a rule passed down to him directly from his boss who was too much of a coward to speak with us directly and kept referring us to a section in the pool handbook that did not exist after the life guards searched for about 20 minutes for it. Plain and simple they discriminated against us based on our age when all we were trying to do was enjoy a family outing at the pool. Again, they couldn't provide us with one legitimate reason as to why we were hand picked out of the crowd and asked for proof of residency. I completely understand that rules are rules and I am one of the most level headed people you will ever come in contact with but to lie and make up rules at your disposal is completely uncalled for when there were plenty of other families who came in here over the course of the complaint against us without issue. This is not the last you will hear from me.

My experience with Donald Peters a manger in the Garron Ridge, Catawba Plantation Community. Has been horrible, he has had numerous complaints. To Kayla Riek his manager, Richard Holstead has been contacted, HOA, Danny Richard's regional manager. He shows horrible customer service. Discrimination mostly towards, afro American, some complaint have been. By other ethnic back grounds as well. A police report eas made concerning him. Runing iny daughter's face as he waa going to physically harm her. My son was present, the went into a arguing match. I was called to the pool. I claimed her down sent her home. Tried talking to him, to see what the problem was. He was rude, and talking to me with no regards of me being a adult. Last summer the pool was truly an amazing relaxing place to go. The environment is very hostile now. He talks to you rudely, walks away when your speaking to him with respect. Threats to band you from the pool for no reason. Abusing his authority as a pool manger. The other attendants, have complaints as well. Scared to speak out, die yo losing there job. The world is in enough of up roar, to live in a place. You feel your being treated unfairly is sad. I will continue to try to get a response from Aquatech. Donald Peters needs to be investigated & removed.
Sincerely, DeWona McCormick

Aquatech has been delivering sub-standard services for our community pool for two years in a row. We went above our HOA rep and contacted the pool manager directly but despite numerous problems to correct the water levels, chlorine levels, and cleanliness issues, they are never fully resolved. This company has been a drain on our time and resources by giving us lip service instead of pool service. I wish we had cancelled our contract at the beginning of the season instead of giving them more chances to make it right.

I have been an employee for 4 years now and I have to say I love working for Aquatech. The regional and area managers are wonderful to work with and have treated me fairly, professionally, and respectfully throughout my time with them. The provide a range of opportunities for all employees such as an entry level lifeguard position, or a more experienced management position. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all levels of the company and plan on continuing working for them for many years to come.
