Bought a $10 silver certificate from APMEX, but the condition was really poor. Not what I expected from a major dealer like them.

Disappointed with the inventory selection at this Oklahoma City location. I was really hoping to find coins from the 1930s or 1940s, but they only seem to stock pieces from the 1940s and 1950s. The catalog tags are also misleading, showing items from 1958-2009 when they should be listed as 1958-1940. It would be nice if APMEX corrected this labeling error.

You can’t beat that premium over spot for a British Sovereign, especially one that’s been in circulation for over a century. I was really impressed with the quality I received from APMEX. The coin is in truly Uncirculated condition; aside from a few minute bag marks on the edges, the obverse and reverse are completely clean. It’s a fantastic piece to add to a collection purely because of its pristine state.
