Clean comfortable and affordable. 1 minute walk to the lift.

Clean, with functioning kitchen and bathrooms. But this place is extremely basic. If you are in college and looking for a crashpad on a ski trip, this place is probably perfect. Alas, I was in my 50s and in town to fish some local rivers and was hoping for something a little more...comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Angel Haus Condominiums unit 117. It is 2-bedroom and 2-bath, but the shower doesn t work very well in one of the bathrooms. The kitchen was fine with a range/oven, dishwasher, fridge, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave. We brought a cooler and food and mostly ate in. We even baked cookies. There s a wood-burning stove and firewood was provided. We had a parking pass for the lot right in front of the building. The unit is a 2-minute walk to the mountain base and all the lifts. So convenient! There s a laundry room on the floor with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Bring quarters since it s $2 to wash and $2 to dry. There s no change machine. The owner has provided some niceties that you may not think to pack such as salt, pepper, spices, coffee filters, etc. We reserved the unit during the summer for the week between Christmas and New Year s there is high demand for affordable accommodations up on the mountain during that time. We had the added bonus of ~36 inches of fresh snow at Purgatory during the week of our arrival.
