These guys really know their wine. They've been serving Ridgefielders since the days of horse and buggy! True to their heritage, the Anconas are hard working and dedicated individuals who are passionate about wine and and other liquors. One of my favorite features about their wine store is that they always have 8 or so wines ready for customers to taste before purchasing - an excellent opportunity for any wine enthusiast wishing to explore an ever changing variety of wine.

Overall an excellent shopping experience -- better than a typical grungy local liquor store or a big box wine shop. Their shop is clean and well lit, the racks are well organized and spaced a comfortable distance apart. They have a decent beer and liquor selection and their 2/$20 and 2/$30 wine deals are a fun way to try out wines. Other than the deals, their prices aren't the lowest but I prefer a comfortable shopping experience to getting the lowest prices. Also, they welcome dogs and will have a biscuit for them.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff is quick to provide suggestions and advice, with an impressive selection of craft beers and liquors. They also have a broad selection of wines at every price point, and can usually provide either personal experience or tasting notes. They also provide an informative email subscription with excellent deals on some excellent wines.

Was looking for a large selection of organic and biodynamic wines and found it hear. Manager was so knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.
