If you care about your loved one DO NOT let them go here!!! My child was there for a week and NO ONE and I mean NO ONE informed me about her progress or how the program would go. The only info I got was from my child!! Called numerous times left numerous messages for the doctors, nurses any and everyone to get updates about her NEVER received a call back. My child was neglected she had to remind them to give her, her medicine. And there for of treatment seems to be watching movies. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! This place needs to be investigated....

Worse hospital ever!! There was hair in the food, they don t wash the bed sheets, the beds smelled like pee. Very unorganized and don t pay attention to the other patients, fights broke out. Doctors brush the patients off!! especially doctor noqvi. place should be shut down !!!

After having a very traumatic experience at Summitridge, I decided to come here. The intake was less than 2 hours between the wait and actually meeting with the nurse (I came early), and everyone was very nice. I did intensive outpatient all the way in Riverdale, but it was definitely worth the drive. The group sessions were very helpful and so were the one on one sessions with the therapist. I appreciate the tools they provided to help with my disposition.

This is the most unorganized place ever. If I could give them zero star I will. Today My son was discharged and this place lost his personal belongings and then call the police on my son because he was upset about his personal belongings. And then the supervisor was very rude yes the one with the green ugly dress on that is bald headed. She had the nerve to say that my son was rude which he was not he was only concern about his personal belongings. I will never refer this place to anyone not even my dog. This place need to be closed down. When I first arrived it was a staff member in the front of the building cursing and very angry and walked out. This is a shame that this place has all this confusion going on there. Please people if your family or friends need mental health treatment this is not the place for them.

I was in treatment at this hospital for seven days. The issues that I witnessed first hand were absolutely horrific. The nurses don't watch patients take the medicine, I found random pills on the ground everyday that I was there. Patients can ask for "shots", that they administer in double doses, and the nurses give it to them because it causes them to sleep the majority of the day. In fact they encourage patients to act up so they can administer shots. There was no time for anyone to talk to a doctor or psychiatrist about their issues. Nurses would fail to stop and or prevent fights inside the compass unit, which led to other patients intervening . It was very much so not safe. I witnessed someone get a black eye in front of me. Just one of serval fights I witnessed during my seven day stay.There was not one nice nurse there working inside the unit. All of them had very negative attitudes and never had anything positive or encouraging to say. This is only a brief summary of what I witnessed during my stay, but there is much more concerns I have that should be dealt with. For the love of God, if your loved one is experiencing mental issues, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. PLEASE! it will only make it worst and might possibly cause PTSD

My experience here was better than initially expected. Other than some staff being super snooty and elitist and some stressing restrictions this place went above how I believe these places are like especially with the variety of activities for therapy and there were times where certain staff would be comforting and interact positively with patients. Getting to know the different patients there was interesting and being at a place like this for the first time ever was truly eye and mind opening but I wouldn't do it again but am thankful for the experience and memories.

My only suggestion is that staff from high school graduates and seniors should be required to take some sort of empathy/sympathy class so they themselves can be better mentally equip to handle patients with a wide variety of mental illness and disorders and laughing at patients having a breakdown and reactions from side effects is utterly disgusting coming from hospital staff, please do better in this area, have some consideration for the environment and patients unless you get off at other peoples pain and low points. If your going back and forth with a patient and getting frustrated, maybe this is not the job for you and perhaps the services may be of help for you instead. That's all.

I was admitted to Anchor earlier this year for my bipolar disorder and had a very good experience. I ve been to other hospitals before and this was the most healing process I ve had. The food was pretty good and the nurses staff was amazing and really took good care of us. (I was in the girls adolescent unit). There were some behavioral issues with other patients but the staff did good handling the situations. They put emphasis on keeping up with hygiene and day to day chores to get you ready for life outside the hospital. Group therapy was great and very helpful. 10/10!

I Love dis place my child was there for 2weeks the staff an nurse touch good care of him they answered all my questions whenever I called didn't matter what time they answered an let me know everything going on I think that was a good place I hope he don't have to go back but if so I would like for him to go to dis place they really help my son........Thank y'all so much .... Light House unit is the Best that's where my child was love the team an staff an nurse an doctor an case manager

My son is currently there, the doctors and staff are thorough and communicate often. They don t return call much but remember, they are not there to answer phones, rather to care for our loved one. We are optimistic about his recovery, thanks to their dedication

My grand daughter just got out of here today she has previous mental health issues before going here but she told me this place never gave her a chance to speak or even tried to find her medical records from November 2020 and 2016. She came back upset that her paperwork they gave her says "no evidence of previous mental issues" even though she over dosed in November of last year. She has issues understanding things told to her and they kept brushing her off when she tried to bring it to her attention that she couldn't understand some things. I DO NOT RECCOMEND AT ALL. They were in such a rush to get rid of her and always brushed her off so she decided to stop trying to ask for help there. She told me they locked the room doors and made them stay up from 5 or 6 am to about 9 (counting time needed for hygiene) and gave them only a 30 minute nap while the staff go home every few hours
