Almond Heights

My grandmother just moved into Almond Heights, and she is so happy about the quality of the care from the wonderful staff, and the food! She is 97 and a foodie, which gives her so much joy! She is incredibly happy with the quality of the food, which can be very difficult to find in many assisted living situations. She has expressed immense appreciation for the dining options and the caring, compassionate, professional staff getting her what she needs, which makes our family so happy! Also, I recently contacted Jenny (a staff member) with a request to help me finish decorating my grandmothers room, and she was so lovely and helpful! Thank you, Almond Heights. It's tough to be so far away from loved ones, but it is heart-warming to know they are being well taken care of.

Its been my mom s home for almost two years and the staff is always warm and wonderful.

Work a little more on the food selection. The cooks are good to what they have to cook with. Chef Eddy is Great!

As a former employee I would never recommend this facility for someone s loved one to live at. Unorganized, and sloppy management who can care less.

Applied for a caregiver job here. Was put into a group interview in front of alot of people. Every one was trying to outshine eachother. And it made it to where other people without experience felt defeated and like they were inadequate. I was asked to show up at 7 am to do a job shadowing. A week after that i was asked to come in for a second interview. Weeks later i had no follow up call. In fact there was absolutely NO communication from them at all. Finally, after calling a few times during the week. The receptionist told me they "filled the position". Which is fine. By all means. But i honestly believe they should have contacted me letting me know instead of wasting so much of my time when i could have been applying else where and going on interviews. I believe its very unprofessional to have a receptionist handle what is supposed to be their job. I dont recommend this place for any one to seek employment at.

Almond Heights has taken such thoughtful, loving care of my grandmother in the past several months since she has been staying there. Her main caretaker, Melissa, has become like family to our family. She takes such incredible care of my grandma, and we are very appreciative. She is professional, kind, caring, meticulous in the level of detailed she provides and truly provides care from the heart. My grandmother loves her! Although we live far away, we trust that she is in kind and caring hands thanks to Melissa and the other caretakers, and we always love to come visit and see how warm her home is there at Almond Heights. Thank you to the whole staff!

My parents have lived here for over a year. I'm super impressed with the neatness of the place, the quality of the staff, the design of the rooms and the amount of activities they have here to keep people busy. My only concern is the mediocre selection of food here. It's full of sugar, fat, and greasy meat. Once they incorporate more healthy plant-based, healthier options, I'll raise my review to 5 stars!

Well,there are always issues with which one has to deal. This virus is one, and some residents do not deal very well with it and the way things are handled. Your staff have responded extremely well and are doing the best they can and are should be commended for their work ethic and attitude. It is not easy for anyone, but you are doing a great job and should be thanked and recognized.

The staff is very friendly and very clean . The food is served all day and it is good .

This is a wonderful Senior Living community nestled in the great city of Orangevale. The environment is welcoming, the staff are always cheerful and helpful, and the food options are delightful! I'm happy to recommend anyone to go for a tour and get to know this wonderful community a little better.
