Wayne from Alfred Poppins put in our log burner and couldn t have been more helpful. He advised us without being pushy and went out of his way to help us choose the best log burner for our needs. He and his team worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently and most importantly did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. We are so pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Alfred Poppins of Stamford.

An excellent service from first consultation in the showroom to fitting our new stove. In the showroom Wayne provided knowledgeable advice and recommendations to suit our needs, absent of any pressure, and provided a very prompt and competitive quote immediately after a survey in our house. Work was completed on the dates specified to a very high standard by Wayne and his team, despite a number of challenges presented by our existing fireplace that necessitated additional work but which attracted no extra charges. We could not be more pleased with the results and would highly recommend Alfred Poppins Stoves.

After visiting several local showrooms and being disappointed by the lack of straight answers to my questions, found Alfred Poppins because they were dealers for the stove I was looking at. Not local but we'll worth the journey, a 70 mile round trip! Straight talking with what turns out to be excellent advice. Decided to take Wayne's advice on what suited our needs and now its been fitted he was spot on. Wayne and his mate turned up dead on time on the day and fitted the fire without any fuss or issues. He thoroughly expained all aspects of using and maintaining the stove and didn't leave until we were completely happy. I would like to add that I have no other interest in this company apart from being a very satisfied customer who wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
