Alfaro Tree Sales INC

Steer clear of Alfaro Tree Sales in Atascosa. They are incredibly disorganized. Lucio is completely unreachable—neither texts nor calls go through. He promises a delivery date and then changes it just days before. It takes weeks and multiple reminders to finally get a quote. He’s just not someone you can trust to run a business. Very unreliable.

As a certified arborist running a tree company in Atascosa, TX, I’m familiar with what quality stock looks like. I purchased two large mountain laurels from Alfaro Tree Sales for a client, along with several other species. While the other trees planted on the same property thrived, these two laurels appeared stressed right out of the truck and died within a week. To make matters worse, Alfaro refused to honor any warranty or even inspect the dead plants when asked. If you aren’t willing to stand behind the inventory you sell, you shouldn’t be selling it in the first place.

Reached out to Alfaro Tree Sales in Atascosa about ten days ago to see if they had a tree available. The representative confirmed they did and quoted a price, so I planned to call back the next day to arrange pickup. Over the following week and a half, I called eight more times, texted, and left several messages, yet I never got a response. I kept my tone polite and patient throughout the process, so it’s really disappointing that they failed to follow up on such a basic level. It feels like a poor way to handle customer service.
