Great civic amenity, and lots of leaves for the children to play in

Love this park, the new work being done has improved it so much. Nice walks, great play areas and the splash pad is brilliant. Nice little cafe too with great ice cream. Spent many long summer days here with a picnic and happy children.

Plenty of benches to sit and appreciate the clean, well kept park.

ive reviewed wyndham park previously ..i can't say enough about this place i am local so i guess you could say I'm a little bias ..but its a wonderfully area for young and old ..

What a great find, first visit here. Moving tributes to our veterans, varied places of interest and beauty and well equiped for all. Good dog walking areas along the river and nice cafe upon return.

Beautiful park with picturesque scenery, well maintained, and things for all, 2 parks a water park, a basketball court, boating lake, tennis courts and outdoor gym equipment.

So much has gone into improving the park recently, seriously, just go have a look :D
From the splash play area to the visitors center, the improved info boards and the outdoor exercise yard, the previously lovely park has so much more to it now.

Stopped off here to break up a journey from Durham to the Norfolk Broads. Lovely park with plenty facilities and space for little and big ones to stretch their legs, visit the loo, enjoy a picnic, dip their feet in the water and savour an ice cream. Very well kept. Shame the WW1 plaque has disappeared.

So many improvements over the past years. Can easy spend the whole afternoon relaxing with the family. The river has been cleaned up and made a much nicer area for the kids to paddle around. Lots of trees to take some peace in the shade. Toilets could do with being open longer though. Overall one of Grantham's nice places.

They have just spent alot on refurbishment on the park made it really nice . It has swings stuff for the little ones . Area for small children also one for the bigger kids loads grass to kick a football round

One of the best places for a family in Grantham. It's free, packed of fun and so much to do. From being in the water, lovely walk, park for the kids, also a cafe, outdoor gym, seeing ducks and swans and other animals. Lovely place for a sit down especially by the river, having family picnic. Just fun fun fun.

Lovely park, great facilities. Good cafe, very reasonably priced food. Sad, some worthless person deliberately damaged the MGC sculpture remembering brave men who ensured the worthless one was free to do needless damage.

Lovely park with a good range of play equipment. Lovely flowerbeds are well maintained.

Great park lots to see and do whatever the weather dog walks,swings ect boating lake bicycles for hire,and especially when you can stop for a cuppa or more in the great little cafe in the park.

Nice little park. Has got two play areas for kids and also an outside gym. Small splash type pool area with water jets for kids. It has a small takeaway cafe serving scoop ice creams with a good selection of flavours. Free parking but does get full quickly when the weather is good. Seems we kept with good covid signage. Toilets are open until 4.15 at the moment. Good for picnics near the river side.

Went for a fun day with grandson but the place was full of dog poop had to be me who step on it wont revisit.

Absolutely brilliant park lovely n clean n safe for our grandchildren ......spent three hours there .....kingfisher water voles ....n lots other wildlife coffee n cake good too highly recommended x

Great park! This is a great place to take your children out to play football or just go for a walk. There is a ice cream parlor which is nice there is also toilets but the last time I went there they were not that clean so I would go before coming out there is also some gum equipment which is free to have a go on but wouldn't recommend this in 2020 because of the pandemic and a bad point for transmission.

The park is becoming a natural beauty spot again, with the redevelopment of the park with planting and new buildings. It has created a haven in a busy little town.

Was there attending and Marshalling the Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven's Santa Fun Run. 2.5km and 5km all ages were welcomed. It was cold, but sunny and much fun was had by all.

This park has everything that we in Birmingham used to have , bowling green paddling pool for all ages a clean river where you can paddle in sporting areas picnics areas cafe . A really good park for everyone of any age or disability including dogs

Not too bad, but not much to do. It is lockdown though.

Set in a beautiful wooded park this small but cosy cafe is warm. The staff were very welcoming. My first time in Grantham and definitely a place to stop for a bite to eat and decent cup of tea, that doesn't break the bank. just perfect XD

The recent renovations to the park have really brought it back to life, lots to do and very beautiful with nature the only problem is you cannot let you dogs of anymore so I think there needs to be a safe enclosed area for that

Fantastic local park with some great facilities like a model boating lake, outdoor gym and padling pool

This park is beautiful and well looked after and maintained. Its suitable for the younger children, so much so in the warmer months you can pack a picnic and probably spend the day there. There is a park, cafe ,toilets, wet/splash area in the summer, info centre, boating lake (model) outside gym equipment. The only reason it doesn't get 5* is that it doesn't cater for the older children at all.

Grantham should be proud of this park only complaint is more parking spaces are needed.

A nice place to sit or wander and just about the only decent public open space in Grantham.

The work done over the last couple of years is fantastic. Well done to all the park staff for their efforts.

I think we visited at the wrong time of the year. It looks like it could be really nice in the summer time.
The disabled toilet left a lot to be desired, the flush handle was broken and the loo was full of toilet paper. We could not find anyone to report it to!!!!
We will definitely give it another try in the summer.

Nice, recently renovated town park. Car parking can be a problem at busy times. Popular with families.

I love the outside gym. It's cool. They have done a good job with the place.

A lovely Riverside walk leads into the park as well as the main entrance that had parking.Fairly recently another car park on the opposite side of the road was added along with picnic tables that leads to another Riverside walk. The park itself has seen many improvements adding to the amenities. There is a well tended bowls club that is open to the public adjacent to a cafe. The new information centre is excellent with a little craft shop for gifts. Included in this building are the toilets and a bicycle hire shop that opens seasonally.
Plenty for the children with a play park and model boating lake.
As well as a huge field for chasing around and picnics. A cycle route along with a footpath cuts right through the park.
The river has plenty of bird life to enjoy with a number of bridges leading to various places in the town.A great place for walking no matter the weather or season.

Lovely scenery, beautiful walk by the river and plenty to do for all ages. Would have given five stars but there was a few pieces of litter in the water.

I met a friend in Grantham for a couple of hours. We both still play pokemon go and he had said that the park was a great place to walk . It didn't disappoint! Plenty of stops and there are usually people around doing raids too. The park looked clean and there were grounds keepers collecting leaves. There is a kiddy park and in the summer there is a large paddling pool! It's in a central location and I would say that lack of local free parking is the only setback (although I didn't have time to look very hard). All round it's a pretty place to walk and there are a couple of sculptures worth seeing too !

Call in, had a lovely walk around the park, weather was dry n sunny, so very pleasant walk, immaculately tended grounds, clean toilets on site. Enjoy a great latte and a cheese toastie at the cafe, then had a walk along the river through Queen Elizabeth park, wonderfully relaxed atmosphere

They are improving it, has a cafe. Bowling Green kids paddling pool.

Very pleasent Park in grantham and thanks to new improvements plenty of parking both my kids love this place

Lovely cooked breakfast, sausages tasty, black pudding spot on. Egg just right. With choice if bread. My granary was delish. Not one spot of grease on the plate. Very good price. Portion was enough to fill me without being bloated. Will def go again. Maybe for cakes next time. They have a toilet and also some toys for younger ones to use. Note its not a massive dining room but all tables have views of the park.

Its a great open space. There's 2 main parks one for the little ones and one for the older kids. There's a lovely walk by the river which crosses over into queen Elizabeth Park

Great place for exercise and chilling out. I walked along riverside today from Bridge end road to Wyndham park, great relaxing, much enjoyed, park well kept, an asset to the town, well done Grantham people and council.
