AWESOME experience! We took a trip to Alb from El Paso to pick up a new YZ250F that one of our friends bought. When we walked in, my husband got the fever and we started looking around. Keith was great - he helped us from beginning to end and we ended up with a new YZ250F for my hubby too! The overall experience with Keith, Michelle, Chad, and Dylan was amazing - treated us like family - such a GREAT experience that we are heading back up to Bobby J's to get mama a new Raptor 700!!

"Hunter did an excellent job showing up our new UTV, explaining all the options and extras available. Explained all the pricing options and warranty information. Bryan showed me exactly how to tie down the UTV when I brought in the trailer, and gave me extra tie cords. Hunter loaded the UTV on my trailer, tied it down, and gave advice on towing. I am more than pleased with the help I received from both Hunter and Bryan, and look forward to meeting them again. "

I didn't end up purchasing a bike from these guys, but that's definitely not the fault of the dealership - I just found a non-Yamaha bike that I liked better than the FZ6R I was there to see. The staff was pretty relaxed, and was content to let me browse around for a while without constantly pestering me. They seemed to know a bit about what they had in stock, and they were willing to let me take the bike I was considering out for a test drive. Letting people make an informed decision about the purchase they're making is something I value a lot, and I'd recommend checking this place out over the R&S guys, since they pressure you to buy without giving you a chance to do more than just sit on a bike.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took my bike there a a $45 oil change. Not only did they not tell me they had to order a part for it, but I had to call on the 5th day of having at Bobby j s to find out that the mechanic broke his leg. And that my bike will take an additional 10-days to repair. And when it s repaired it s gonna cost $110 dollars. So I told them to stop everything and I ll pick my bike up. Now my bike won t stay on. My front tire is bent... absolutely terrible experience.. if anyone needs there put bike or Yamaha fixed. Call get it fixed or franks power tools.

This place goes over and beyond, no joke. Hunter and Al were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back, best buying experience I have ever had. Wish every place treated customers like this. Keep up the great work guys.

Also, cool fact, this dealer is the oldest Yamaha dealer in the nation and I see why now. Some pretty cool history about the place.

Everyone here was very welcoming and kind. I bought a brand new 2016 Grizzly and they had it ready to go with the new winch installed by the end of the day. I got it ready to head out for the weekend, but I was called on Friday about a recall on one part in the engine. I rushed it to them at 1 and they had it ready for me by 4 so I could still make the trip! I'll be going back whenever I need anything else done and will recommend them to anyone looking for a new rig or some repair work.

Needed some fun, immediate relief from bookwork and computer coding. What better way than hit the motorsports store, best in Albuquerque is Bobby J's. Hunter represented well, and gave me such an amazing deal I couldn't refuse. Soon to hit the dirt, braap

Not only is Bobby J's the oldest Yamaha dealership in the country, it is the best dealership in the country. (No, I haven't bee to every dealer in the entire country). Though they don' have the biggest shop, they keep it well stocked with just what riders need, not what some "I used to ride" parts guy with an attitude thinks riders need. They all ride and all know their stuff. They offer mid week deals on parts (Tuesday if I remember right) and they drop prices on old inventory so it doesn't sit around with other hard to sell gear, turning the shop into a museum. I'm proud to say I was a member of Team Duck, although I probably still remain on academic probation. I wear my duck with pride and when I tip over in a puddle it usually keeps my head afloat just enough to grab a breath of air until someone comes over to stand my ride up.

These guys are a family and they will treat you as part of it. No need to shop around for the best prices. They're on it. Yes, you could find cheaper stuff online, but you aren't gonna get help putting it on. You aren't gonna have guys to ride with, you ain't gonna have a pit crew who has your back and most of all, the internet is a dirty place. You could get a virus . . or worse.

A really great dealership.

I have bought several bikes from Bobby J's, as well as I have traded in a few, and the transactions have always been transparent, fair, and enjoyable.

The parts and service departments are also great.

The bottom line is that the owners and the people they have on staff are motorcycle enthusiasts, who have built a great business by catering to the needs of their motorcycling customers. Bobby J's is a great asset to the New Mexico motorcycling community.

Recently bought a SSR 170cc I had problems left and right took it about three times (in under a ONE month warranty). Everytime I would bring it in, they would make a excuse on why it was broken so they can fix it and have me on my way. Currently the bike has been more broken down than ridden. there's no return policy or nothing. They also have told me "well it's a Chinese bike". I do understand that but how are you guys making me pay $2,200 for something I can't even ride because it's always something breaking. I bought to ride it not to be going back and fourth figuring out what's wrong with it. Everything that is explained to me every time I go is HALF ASSED!!! Keith was very helpful and informative I appreciate that a lot!

I have been a customer there since 1971 and somehow always seem to go back there. I bought my first (that I owned outright) bike there in 1972 (a Candy Apple Red RD-350) and they completely rebuilt it a year later when I seized it up (my fault). I have always gone back for service, no matter what make I ride. My used bike, from another manufacturer, that I bought there is still serviced by them when it needs it (and they had it in great riding shape on the used lot). Their service department has been consistently great for all these years.

Update: Ever since Frank purchased the Grizzly it s been a fight over who gets to ride it. I have to say it was me. So yesterday Frank traded in his 450 Kodiak for a 700 Kodiak for me. Again, Keith and Hunter were extremely nice and professional and did everything they could to get us the best possible price for our trade in and purchase! Thank you again!

My boyfriend, Frank Herig, finally purchased a Grizzly after several visits. Keith and Hunter were so nice to us every time. To us, it was a huge purchase, and they totally understood where we were coming from. For that we will always be grateful.

Came in from El Paso, Tx because this is the closest dealership with integrity! I sent in pictures of trade ins and they honored the values they quoted me! Crazy how dealerships near El Paso give quotes and low ball you once you are in there. Mr. Nico Montoya was really helpful and knowledgeable. He was smiling the whole time and had an answer for every question. Easy going and put zero pressure on me. Worth the drive, especially with my new 2020 YZ450F in the bed of my truck

Bought my scooter from here and it was a good experience, very helpful and low pressure. The real thing that stands out with these guys is their service department. They are professional, fairly priced, timely and great to deal with.

I have been trying to find a good mechanic for my car and man does it make me appreciate how great these guys are!

They say fill out your info, someone will call you. It s on my credit report they ran my credit but never called or replied to say whether I was approved and or if I would be approved for anything else. You ran my credit, the LEAST you could do was give me a call... just want to get a bike again to relive the free feeling I miss so much. Can t be that busy in the winter to not call. I m just saying... rating is based on you get what you give ...

Outstanding service experience began with a cancelled appointment. They took my V-Star 950 Touring bike in and had it completed in just two hours. Albuquerque is a stop over on my 10 week motorcycle ride and Bobby J s put me back on the road at a reasonable price.

All I can say is that when I bought my bike through by Bobby J s they were very informative and attentive being that I was from Denver and the bike was in New Mexico I instantly called because the price of the bike was exactly in my range and the reviews of bobby j made the drive worth it;
When I called the sweet lady on the other end helped me get all the necessary documents and papers in order, by time I got to pick up the bike all I had to do was sign load and deliver; all in all probably the best experience someone can have buying their first bike .

He was super helpful and got me the best price and matched my needs! Seriously consider Bobby js if wanting to get into riding! On top of that something went wrong with my bike and because of there guarantee got fixed the following week! Will always do business with them!
