AKV |St. Joost

I have studied there. The teachers are nice and professional in their files. But the organisation and management are so bad. Think twice before you trust what they say. Sometimes they don t keep their words or try to trick you with sophistry.

The attractions were not as nice as I had previously thought and the souvenir shops at the end were far too expensive. The food was also very disappointing. Showy the staff was quite nice but the queues for the rides took way too long. Don't think I'd go again.

I studied at the AKV st Joost in Den Bosch a few years ago and would not recommend this study to anyone after this experience.

I didn't learn very much during my Illustration studies.
In those three years I have had only 4 or 5 different teachers who, although they were good at their profession, at one point just couldn't say much about the subject of illustration or about the progress of the students.
The lessons were generally not structured and mainly consisted of feedback on what the students had done as homework at home, unfortunately there was a lack of qualitative lessons in theoretical and technical knowledge and almost nothing was done to teach digital skills (drawing / animate in digital programs).

The ratings were unfortunately heavily influenced by the personal opinion of the department head. This created a highly subjective assessment system in which students may or may not graduate for unlawful reasons.

I would advise people to study at the HKU or another academy.

Great school. Just got 2 6es and one 7. Both are more than 5 stars.

An art academy where the student is really central and who is trained to become an environment-oriented professional professional.
