I have worked in the industry for many years. You need to read and understand your contract like every other company out there. Sign a contract with a fixed rate and no cancellation fees. Place your contract end date into google calendar to notify you 3 weeks in advance of meter reading which is the same as contract end date. As long as you find a new supplier or renew with Agera roughly 2-3 weeks before your end date you will always be guaranteed the lowest possible supply rate on your electric bill.

DO NOT GET AGERA!!! Too many charges and hidden fees. An extra $200 to cancel and you have to wait a whole new billing cycle to disconnect from them even after you cancel your account.

Energy Me... Brutal contract. Would not let me out if it. Crooked! could care less about the customers.

We've tested most gas and electric suppliers in the nation, Agera is the best service and their prices can not be beat. Most of the negative reviews are by other energy outfits. Check your official state complaints area, Agera has none.

Used to be a great utility provider and good customer service. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore and when I got my latest bill of $2617 I almost fainted! I was charged 22.6 a kWt. Then they kept trying to ACH that payment over and over again out of my acct. Each time it costs me $35. Yesterday I got an email saying they filed Chapter 11 on October 4th.

These people spam mail me. We will not do business with people that spam mail us. BEWARE if they ever get your email address

I worked for this company as s referral agent, official title was Channel Partner. CORPORATE HAS SEVERED MY POSITION AND OTHERS WITHOUT NOTICE AND THEY HAVE WITHELD APPROXIMATELY $800 OF MY COMMISDIONS. UPPER MANAGEMENT IS A COMPILATION OF GREED DRIVEN PIGS. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!

Like most fuel providers, the contract can be a pain to cancel and it is an auto renewal. Be careful what you sign. I will not enter into these contracts again.

Came in to private property even though we had a no soliciting sign. Politely refused, sales rep was very pushy and would not listen to us at all. Will absolutely not do business with any company who thinks this is acceptable behavior
