The ADVB/RS (the Association of Marketing and Sales Directors of Brazil) is a civil nonprofit organization that aims to develop the marketing concepts and practices of Rio Grande do Sul in order to leverage its economy. The organization carries out its activities focused on 3 areas which include relationship: promotes cooperation between companies and professionals for the development of marketing and sales areas; knowledge: disseminates knowledge of marketing and sales practices by promoting training courses, conferences, seminars, and workshops; and recognition: highlights the competence of companies, institutions, and professionals who have developed best practices in sales and marketing in Rio Grande do Sul by awarding them. The ADVB/RS was founded on November 26, 1962, and is based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It is the second oldest of the associations that make up the FENADVB (National Federation of Associations of Marketing Managers and Sales Brazil).
