A.R.T is the best soft tissue modality i have come across. Using it i have had great and fast success with clients of mine but also on myself by other providers.
Teaching and online support is top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend to other physical therapists but also to potential clients looking for the next edge in treatment.

Can't say enough how much Active Release Techniques have helped my patients. The technique is truly the gold standard in soft tissue therapy. There is no substitute, ART is the most thoroughly developed technique that I've ever studied. Find an ART provider and you'll see for yourself how amazing this works!!

As an Active Release Techniques provider, I get to change lives every day. I appreciate that this technique holds the highest standards, continues to update based on new findings, and brings conservative care to the public. I hear it all the time from people who have a problem that hasn t gotten better that this ART is just different.

I can't say enough good things about the ART Team and the training I went through. Though it is an intense fire-hose type week of training and learning, I would 100% recommend the Full Body certification program to any Massage Therapist (or any bodywork professional). You will deepen your knowledge of the musculoskeletal system AND acquire high-value tools to help get your clients out of pain and moving functionally. Just do it. You won't regret it.

About Active Release Techniques®

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a non-invasive treatment system precisely engineered to locate and quickly resolve soft-tissue disorders.

Active Release Techniques® (ART) is a revolutionary non-invasive treatment system that has been precisely engineered to locate and quickly resolve soft-tissue disorders. This innovative technique was developed by Dr. Michael Leahy, who is a chiropractor and an expert in biomechanics, anatomy, and human physiology.

ART is a patented soft tissue management system that uses movement-based massage techniques to treat various musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis and many more. ART practitioners use their hands to evaluate the texture of the muscles and other soft tissues in the body. They then apply specific tension with their hands while the patient moves through specific movements.

The goal of ART is to restore normal function to the affected area by breaking up adhesions or scar tissue that may have formed due to injury or overuse. Adhesions can cause muscles to become weak or tight which can lead to pain and discomfort.

ART has been proven effective for treating various conditions related to sports injuries as well as repetitive strain injuries caused by work-related activities such as typing on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

One of the key benefits of ART is its non-invasive nature. Unlike surgery or other invasive procedures that require downtime for recovery after treatment sessions are completed; patients undergoing ART treatments can return immediately back into their daily routine without any restrictions.

Another benefit of ART is its ability to provide quick relief from pain symptoms associated with musculoskeletal disorders. Patients typically experience significant improvement within just a few sessions which makes it an ideal choice for those seeking fast relief from chronic pain conditions.

In addition to being highly effective at treating musculoskeletal disorders; ART also offers several other benefits including improved flexibility and range of motion; increased circulation; reduced inflammation; improved posture; enhanced athletic performance among others.

If you're looking for an effective non-invasive treatment option for your musculoskeletal condition then Active Release Techniques® may be just what you need! With its proven track record of success in treating various types of soft-tissue disorders combined with its numerous benefits over traditional treatments methods - it's no wonder why so many people are turning towards this innovative technique today!
