Acoustic Disc - The Home of 100% Handmade Music
Acoustic Disc is a music company that specializes in producing and distributing high-quality, handmade music. Founded by David Grisman, a renowned mandolin player and composer, Acoustic Disc has become synonymous with the best in bluegrass, jazz, old-time and folk music.
At Acoustic Disc, we believe that music should be made with passion and dedication. That's why all our recordings are 100% handmade - from the instruments to the final mix. We work with some of the most talented musicians in the world to create unique and unforgettable sounds that will transport you to another time and place.
Our catalog includes some of the most iconic names in music history - from Jerry Garcia to Tony Rice. We also feature up-and-coming artists who are pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds. Whether you're a fan of traditional bluegrass or experimental jazz fusion, there's something for everyone at Acoustic Disc.
One thing that sets us apart from other record labels is our commitment to preserving historically important recordings. We believe that every piece of music has value - even if it was recorded decades ago on outdated equipment. That's why we've made it our mission to digitize rare recordings from around the world so they can be enjoyed by future generations.
In addition to producing albums, we also offer live performances by some of our top artists. Our concerts are intimate affairs where fans can get up close and personal with their favorite musicians. We believe that live performance is an essential part of any musician's career - it allows them to connect with their audience on a deeper level.
At Acoustic Disc, we're more than just a record label - we're a community of passionate musicians who share a love for handmade music. Whether you're an artist looking for inspiration or a fan searching for your next favorite album, we invite you to join us on this musical journey.
So why choose Acoustic Disc? Because we're dedicated to producing the highest quality music possible. Because we believe in preserving the past while embracing the future. And because we know that music has the power to change lives - one note at a time.
