HOLY COW. That was the fastest and most well spent $274 of my life, I think. We have a Carrier Infinity that was installed by the previous owners of our home, about 12 years ago. At that time it was the top of the line. We spray the AC coils and change the filter regularly, and we make sure to pay attention to the system. We had a code 84 high pressure fault show on the screen. Of course we Googled it first. Most of the forums said the coils needed to be sprayed off so we did that. The fault came back so we called AAA Northgate, as they installed the system. Our service tech Pat was here within a 1/2 hour and he had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 15 minutes. The picture shows that the capacitor circled was bad. He grabbed one from his van and installed it right there on the spot. He stayed until the AC fan kicked back on. He was very professional, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need them, you should too.
