My aunt lives here and I went to visit her for the first time. The staff is so friendly and attentive to the residents. It is beautifully directed and feels like home, not an institution. I was very impressed. This place changed my opinion of adult care homes.

If I could give this place a NO STAR, I would. I was employed by this employer for a short time. In that time I experienced two of her and her husband's homes. They make a very good income of these Clients and they feed them very cheaply. And they don't give them big enough portions. The owner tried to tip me off on my paychecks. I was not paying attention to my check stubs a d realized that in the middle of me being employed there, she cut my pay. I told her that if she did not give me my money that she owed me, I would be calling the BBB and L&I. I started receiving checks ( hold on to you hats, EVERYONE) from her in the amount of .75, 1.35, 4.73, etc....... . What a penny-pincher! Her income is in the THOUSANDS with her homes and she thinks it's okay to cheat an employee out of her rightful earnings! Absolutely no INTEGRITY! How you can do that to your Clients and Employees is beyond me. Here is a good example of a person without a CONSCIENCE. This field of caregiving has been an emotional draining and psychological abusing aspect I have ever gone through. Usually it is never the Clients that is the problem. It is always the STAFF, MANAGER AND/OR OWNER. I will always believe in the saying that "you get what you give in life". I, myself.....can look in the mirror and know that I have never wronged and/or stolen from someone. I feel good about that I am a decent, hard-working individual. I guess when others who are the opposite of me get jealous because of what I "give off" on a daily basis of being good, honest and decent. Not my problem! Everyone on this planet has a choice. You either have morals or you don't. You choose to live like that. Shame on any or all ADULT FAMILY HOME owners who choose to cut corners at the expense of their CLIENTS! These precious people deserve the best in their final years. In my time in this field, I have seen a very small amount of ADHOMES that were decent. HEARTBREAKING AND PATHETIC! To all the mistreated CLIENTS who are still with us or have passed......"may you always be loved and cared for. In the end, you will experience a wonderful transition......you will be in the ARMS OF OUR LORD. No more tears, no more suffering, no more feeling unloved. God bless you all!"
