Love this shop - a treasure trove for pirates and land lubbers alike. Visit for all your nautical needs - from 'parrot planks', glass bottles of sea salt and ancient maps. (And the children's writing workshop area at the back looks great!)

One of the most unique places in San Francisco. Authentic pirate gear and baubles to amuse all children, big or small. Plus all funds go to support the writing and tutoring workshops they host in the back of the store. Definitely worth a trip!

So, this place is known for its extensive collection of eyepatches. What really stands out, though, is their selection of artisanal artificial limbs and hooks. I picked out a great handcrafted mahogany peg leg here, and couldn't be happier. 5/5. Would pillage again.
