826 Boston is two things: (1) it's a retail store featuring fun Bigfoot-themed items like field kits and t-shirts; (2) it's a center for promoting writing and literacy for children and teens. You can volunteer during weekdays or Saturdays; they run workshops and tutoring sessions all the time. The staff is wonderful; totally dedicated to getting kids excited about learning and all about fostering creativity. Definitely worth a visit!
