Years before anyone uttered the phrase "dot-com", four young real estate agents found themselves swept up in San Francisco's entrepreneurial spirit. Determined to create a firm based on the novel idea that agents be treated like they are actually part of the company, they founded Zephyr Real Estate in 1978. "There were plenty of brokerages that made their agents feel like just another number, but They knew They could build a company where the agents could really be a part of the team," says Bill Drypolcher, President of Zephyr Real Estate and one of the original founders.
