The einrúm yarn is developed by the architect Kristín Brynja Gunnarsdóttir and is produced by Ístex in Iceland. The einrúm yarn, Icelandic wool and Mulberry Thai silk, combines the features of two natural fibres – rough textured wool and smooth silk – into a unique product. The shades of the einrúm yarn are named after types of minerals found in Icelandic nature.
