Xvir Therapeutics GmbH was founded in 2004 and is focusing on the clinical development of novel cancer therapies for the treatment of various solid tumors, and in particular of drug-resistant or radiation-resistant tumors Such cancer therapies are based on the use of oncolytic adenoviruses restoring drug sensitivity and radiation-sensitivity, respectively, of the tumors.
