Work It UP (2020 re-named AgileNow.Org) is a social-entrepreneurial nonprofit that connects registered member skilled volunteer professionals with local small businesses and other nonprofit organizations during times of national economic crisis. The overarching effort is to foster Hope and Unity by training both halves of the broken economy in the use of Agile frameworks to collaborate as a team on short-term business growth projects to create jobs in their community. Operating first in Portland, Maine from 2009 - 2015, at its peak the group was successful in delivering an average of half a million dollars annually in volunteer professional services to the small business community of Maine. In 2020, under the name, AgileNow.Org, the group will re-activate operations to continue to work among its two constituent partners: working & non-working volunteer professionals and struggling small businesses and nonprofits.
