Woodland Biofuels Inc. is a privately-owned Canadian company that has developed and patented a low-cost process technology to produce cellulosic ethanol from waste biomass, such as wood chips and agricultural waste. Woodland's efficient catalytic process puts them on track to be North America's lowest-cost cellulosic ethanol producer. Their strategy is to build, own and operate cellulosic ethanol plants, together with pursuing selected licensing opportunities.
