George Wladis began his insurance career at Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company on West Genesee Street in Syracuse. There, he realized small, local businesses had very few benefit options to choose from. He started The Wladis Companies in 1959 to change that. Today, The Wladis Companies, Inc. is one of the top insurance brokers in central New York, providing service, consultation and benefits for businesses of all sizes. Now under the leadership of George’s son, Steven, the company maintains its commitment to providing customers with outstanding, personal service.
